I always wonder why more people don't dance in the streets. Then I figured it out..Its because we are all the judge and the jury..looking for exacts, looking to keep ourselves in safe boxes where we have almighty control of everything around us every second of every day.
Dancing is our truest form of abandon and self expression outside the box... besides sex that is..That's why we keep it to a minimum inside square rooms with our carefully planned out square lives.....So...Today I am…

Happy and I made it. we are in Leesburg, VA. It seems kind of strange, but we started to see snow on the ground right at the NC/VA border. By the time we got to Richmond (65 miles) the snow was pretty deep. About a foot.
I'm not sure what causes it, but as soon as you get to the North side of Richmond, people go crazy. There were drivers doing 80 weaving in and out between the 18 wheelers. There was a wreck, or someone in a snowbank at just about every Exit/Entrance. Consequently,…

I live on Michigan's Leelanau Peninsula, which also comprises almost all of Leelanau County. Thus, I'm equally correct if I say "I live on the Leelanau Peninsula", or if I say "I live in Leelanau County".
Its a beautiful place to live...we're surrounded by Lake Michigan on three sides (well, two sides actually, as the peninsula is a triangle). We have forests, we have lots of inland lakes, and we have great tall hills with panoramic views. We have picturesque little towns, both…

Tonight Happy and I are in a motel near Rocky Mount, NC. We spent last night at Savannah, GA. We are headed to Leesburg, VA. I stored the RV near Melbourne, Fl. I'm driving the Jeep Liberty to VA. So far we have managed to stay South and East of the Storm, but tomorrow we will have to invade the snow area. We are close enough to the storm area that late this evening we started seeing trucks and cars going the opposite direction that still had lots of snow on them. I was in a service station and…

Uncle Obama has gotten ahold of your credit card. And he's amassing charges on it that - you - not he - are liable for. You can call the fraud line, you can call the police, you can call any politician or government agency, and they will all tell you the same thing. Shut up and pay up.
Since misery loves company, you might feel better knowing that you're not the only one being extorted. Uncle Obama and his buddies have the credit and debit cards of every man woman and child in…

A Dog's Purpose? (from a 6-year-old).
Being a veterinarian, I had been called to examine a ten-year-old Irish Wolfhound named Belker. The dog's owners, Ron, his wife Lisa, and their little boy Shane, were all very attached to Belker, and they were hoping for a miracle.
I examined Belker and found he was dying of cancer. I told the family we couldn't do anything for Belker, and offered to perform the euthanasia procedure for the old dog in their home.
As we made…

There was something in it that could have hurt my families feelings..I dearly love my family...They really are AOK with me. At the end of every day I take my own inventory, I check myself twice to see if I have been naughty or nice, and usually I have been both..so..I make amends wherever possible and I usually sleep good at night....I can be a bit forward and I am always thinking, but sometimes I write my thoughts down without really thinking.....So with that in mind about myself and a apology…
