TBD

TBD on Ning

Tonight Happy and I are in a motel near Rocky Mount, NC. We spent last night at Savannah, GA. We are headed to Leesburg, VA. I stored the RV near Melbourne, Fl. I'm driving the Jeep Liberty to VA. So far we have managed to stay South and East of the Storm, but tomorrow we will have to invade the snow area. We are close enough to the storm area that late this evening we started seeing trucks and cars going the opposite direction that still had lots of snow on them. I was in a service station and talked to a young couple who had driven from Winchester, VA today. They were headed to an Army base in South Carolina. Said that there was about 15 inches of snow in Winchester.

I'll take my time tomorrow. Probably won't leave here until about 9 since it is below freezing and there will probably be ice on the road early in the morning. I'm hoping that they will have the roads clear by the time I get to Richmond. If not, we'll see how the liberty handles in snow.
Since I have no deadline to meet, if it gets too bad, I'll just find a motel and hole up until it gets better.
I'll post again when I get there and let everyone know what it is like. I might have some interesting pictures by that time.

Be safe.
You should be okay, the main roads here in Philly are clear and just wet. They worked all night plowing and salting. I'm sure they've done in the same on the roads you'll be travelling. Unless of course, you decide to forge new trails through the woods???

Stay safe Robbie. A couple days of layover might not be a bad idea. Let them clean up a bit before you get into it.
