TBD on Ning

Information

Slipped Away

We've grown older. As we grow we gather friends, especially in these days of Internet and social networking. But as the years pass we begin to lose the ones we love and while we are able to move on as we should, there is a part of us that wants to hold on...and to not let the world forget that someone existed, did their time and left us.

This is the place where those that are gone remain alive in our memories.

I begin it with some TBD members that live-on in my own heart, but everyone's memories are welcome. Open a discussion for anyone close to you that you choose not to forget.  Post photos, post the laughter, post the joy...post the tears.

This group is for them.

We lost Rachel Anderson (Rapa) last September 2023. I really enjoyed her energy and sharing a common love of books. We became Facebook friends and communicated often for a time. When I had not heard from her I went to her Facebook page to find sadly that she had passed. :( I really appreciated her vim and vigor, the spirited voice in her words. I will miss her as no doubt others here will too. We both shared a love of books. <3

I lost my oldest son April 19, 2022. He was kind and so funny. He had so many friends to come to his memorial and most of them had funny stories to tell about him.

We lost Steve Macon August 22, 2021. He was a loyal and honest friend on Facebook who lived by his standards. Our friendship started here however on TBD back in its earliest days.  (Crohn' Disease, Phillipines)
