Today I read an editoral written by Thomas Friedman. It was titled "This country Needs a Tea Party of the Radical Center".
It was in the Houston Chronicle. Friedman is a columnist for "The New York Times".
In this column he discusses how our current form of government has been taken over by the extremists on both sides of the political spectrum. He thinks that our political system of only two major parties has allowed that, and that it is only going to get worse. The…
The Wall Street Journal has published an opinion piece by US Senator Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), Kenneth Blackwell, and Kenneth Klukowski entitled, "Why the Health-Care Bills Are Unconstitutional".…
You're kidding me, right? It's December 29th already?! Where did the time go and what have I been doing?! Oh, that's right....working!! I've tried to squeeze in some good livin' (and some lovin' along the way) but work has dominated. Once fall hit I went into high gear at work and have barely taken my hand from the plow for a second. This week, however, with the offices closed, I am taking some much needed and desired time to rest, breath deeply, reflect and reconnect.
Has there ever been a better example of the complete breakdown of our national government and the legislative process than the Senate health care bill that squeaked by last week? What a fiasco. Think about all of the months of committee meetings, town hall meetings turning violent and verbally abusive, spoken about ad nauseam in the 2008 Presidential campaign and this is the best we could do? It's bad enough that Senators take money from so many private interests that wind up influencing their… Continue
Here is an update to my October 26, 2009 posting about Desiree Jennings, the Redskins cheerleader who had a crippling reaction to a seasonal flu shot.
by Pat Shallan
Issue 47, Nov. 23, 2009
In late August, Desiree Jennings was a beautiful and athletic 26-year-old Washington Redskins cheerleader anxious for the upcoming Sunday excitement, but by the time the new season began in September, she was a crippled and hopeless spastic who could speak only with great… Continue
This information was posted early morning CDT September 15 2009 by Dr Joseph Mercola on mercola.com:
The Office of the President and other White House officials are defendants in a free speech lawsuit filed by the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS) and the Coalition for Urban Renewal and Education (CURE).
According to the groups, the White House has “unlawfully collected information on political speech,” thereby illegally using the power of the White… Continue

President Obama is rushing a massive socialized healthcare plan through Congress -- with a final vote expected in September.
The “ObamaCare” healthcare plan imposes at least $1.5 trillion in new taxes and forces Americans to “hand over” their health care decisions to politicians and bureaucrats. This nationalization of our health care system will cripple businesses and cause a massive increase in government control over our lives. For more on how the so-called “Public Option” is… Continue
I'm curious (not sarcastic)...What source does congress use to get these numbers? It seems every time you turn around, people site a different set of numbers. It gets confusing. So who's right?
In a way, it doesn't matter how many are without insurance -- It matters that people's needs are taken care of in a timely fashion. How can we accomplish this without breaking the country, not only financially, but spiritually and… Continue
I realize that you may feel like I am bombarding you with information, but Health Care reform, the way Obama, Pelosi, Waxman, Reid, and Emanuel are approaching it, places this country at a critical cross roads in term of completely redefining the role of the Federal Government in our lives. Here's another point of view presented by
Mr Robert Reich:
Obama's Agreement with Big Pharma May Help Healthcare Reform Pass, but it May Also Mean Higher…Continue
Opposition from nurses association falls on deaf ears
August 3, 2009
A New York State health authority has adopted a regulation that mandates every health care worker in the state to be vaccinated against influenza.
The news was announced last week by the New York State Hospital Planning and Review Council, despite overwhelming opposition from the nation’s oldest and largest state professional association for registered… Continue
Complacency in America is coming to an end. Those who are complacent will not fare well through coming economic, cultural and political turmoil, as they will be forced to adapt and learn new skills. People who are adaptable, self-reliant and determined will find plenty of success in whatever follows our nation's upcoming changes.
You have more options than you may think. You are not stuck in any particular job or health status. You can change your circumstances by making new,… Continue
If you want to know why U.S. businesses increasingly outsource jobs to other countries, just add up the cost of doing business in America: As an employer, you have to pay not only higher wages than most other countries, but you also have to pay for the lost productivity and missed days due to the astonishingly poor health of the U.S. workforce.
Now, under the new Obama health care reform bill, you'll have to pay an additional eight percent of your payroll as a new tax to cover the… Continue
