I always wonder why more people don't dance in the streets. Then I figured it out..Its because we are all the judge and the jury..looking for exacts, looking to keep ourselves in safe boxes where we have almighty control of everything around us every second of every day.
Dancing is our truest form of abandon and self expression outside the box... besides sex that is..That's why we keep it to a minimum inside square rooms with our carefully planned out square lives.....So...Today I am going to go dance in the street..Or am I? Do I dare cross the boundaries of the human boxed condition? Someone might be watching me...
I found this man on youtube today..He has many thoughts I relate to..I find him very refreshing.
TaCa...I'm from The LA area..born & raised...I road my bike to work for years....I would still ride it, but I have bone problems....I am good to walk, but I am afraid of falling off my bike so it sits more than it should. Every once in a while I take it out for a slow ride, but I am careful not to get around too much traffic. ... I will add you as a friend if you like..What area of Ca. are you from? You can PM me if you like...It's a small world sometimes.
Yes TACa I do feel that way. When I lived down the street from here about 6 years ago i went out and bought myself a set of pick-up sticks and jacks to play with. Everytime I see them in stores I get a warm fuzzy feeling.
For the first part of our lives we rush to grow up, and then when we are all grown up we wish to be kids again. I think if we all danced in the streets, there would be no more wars (well, very few anyway). People would start playing more, and we would all know peace & love.
It is fear which keeps us from changing things in our lives. Mostly fear of what others will think...Imagine getting over those silly fears, listening to whats at the bottom of our hearts and souls and dancing our way to freedom.
Ok Oriamb...Just for you I cleaned up my writing a bit..It was in poor form and a little hard to understand.
Aggie you must be a little crazy too or you read between the lines.....In my neighborhood we used to do Native ceremony until we started arguing over how it should be done....The more liberated minds wanted dancing, and the more conservative ones wanted quiet and respectful....We could not come to any agreements, and haven't to this day. My solution...drop the ceremony and have a pot luck. That's not exactly fruit salad, but sometimes it seems impossible to cut it all up, and mix it together. I'm working on it though...someday...Thanks Aggie.
Ha ha ha... ..You label me Crazy......Maybe I am just a round peg that does not fit in your square hole of a brain.. ........I like you too Oriamb..You make me laugh....K
I tried dancing in the streets but it wears out my boots to fast. Apples and oranges will always be differant, but cut them up and mix with some other fruit and nuts. Result is a great fruit salad.
What?????? I have no fucking idea what that means, but, Bless your heart. You are crazy as a run over dog, but for reasons that I don't understand, I like you..... You are tooooo cute.
