I'm sorry, Hawker. I'm just "yanking your chain." I guess I just don't understand the people waving the "Confederate Flag" instead of the United States Flag. Just call me one of those Damn Yankees who happens to love the United States of America. :) That includes the South, the North, the East and the West.. :)

It has long been my opinion as a historian that a stronger more creative president than Mr. Lincoln could have avoided the whole mess. There were many compromises available but he would hear none of them.
