Devistating floods in her home town The gov. of NY has declared her area a disaster area. Any ideas how we can help? Kittycat and I are close enough that we can drive up there to help. Hopefully I'll hear from her later.

Really sorry to hear this news. Seems like this is the thunderstorm season. I've been really lucky so far. Hope your loss is covered by insurance. The FEMA adjusters should soon be there. Put in your claim and hope for the best.

1 GL will now need some one to clean her place instead of the other way around. Stuff is just stuff...This is just another of the curve balls fate tosses our way just to see what we're made of . 1 GL is going to be fine...once the camels and silly string arrive...then there's always Walmart...

Yes. Indeed. But as I've been through a hurricane with terrible flooding (or two) - I empathizes deeply. She must let us know what she needs. With DD so close by, we can manage some care packages and monies for gas if our DD is up to a delivery. There are a number of ways we can help.
