I do not like tax loopholes as it's unfair to the honest tax payers.
The only tax loophole we get is our charity contributions. (here)
If we owned a business we would get special goodies. You have to give that to business or there would be no businesses.
The way I see it is there are two news sources in the US. One to keep the poor poor and dependent and the other one to keep the middle class and rich at the same level. It was like the warning that Bush put out on the business channels of the pending housing bubble that is about to pop.
The other news sources ignored 'That Dumb Bush".
To sum this up:
CNN viewers around 4 hundred thousand. (poor class)
FOX viewers around 2 Million. (rich and middle class)
They are killing the middle class with all the taxes so these numbers will change.

So you are admitting that loopholes are fair to dishonest tax payers??
WE ALREADY KNEW THAT!! That's why they should be closed so the rich actually pay their share instead of the average 18 percent they pay now.
You're right about one thing....the middle class is not only being taxed out of existance, but it is being squeezed from all sides....no jobs, lower paying jobs, no benefits, higher prices for virtually everything and no one to represent them. Which is and has been the goal of the conservative rich since this country was founded.
Oh...BTW Faux News is nothing more than an extension of the republican party.

I'm a registered democrat. (Milton Friedman schooled though)
I dislike the republican party after trying to shove Mc Cain up our noses.
We like the tea party bunch.
Remember that the politicians protect the rich because they run in the same circle.
Are they going to tax themselves?, not likely.

I think members of congress should have to pass a basic government test before they could take office. Much like the ones I used to give my students when I taught government. I think a large number would fail. I am sure my congressman would.

The suggestion I heard today on NPR that was most disturbing was the advice to invest in stable foreign governments.
My mattress is pretty stable but the interest sucks.
