THREE GATES TO THE WORLD
Philip Harrelson
1 John 2:16 KJV For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

HOW TO HANDLE STRESS
The sheep begin to graze in the Middle East at about four in the morning. At about ten in the morning the shepherd will find some green shaded place with water to feed and drink and rest. It is important for the sheep to have a quite time so that they can grow.
How do you handle stress! Are you all stressed up with nowhere to go? We are stressed because we are like sheep. Sheep are a description rather than a compliment!

Is there no way to sneak back into TBD and leave one last message? Not even a spray of graffiti? "Goodnight Irene, goodnight Irene, I'll see you in my dreams."

After Reading THIS, you'll NEVER look at a banana in the same way again!
Bananas Containing three natural sugars - sucrose, fructose and glucose combined with fiber, a banana gives an instant, sustained and substantial boost of energy. A godly man does not indulge in any sin
(from Thomas Watson's "The Godly Man's Picture")
Though sin lives in him—yet he does not live in sin. A godly man may step into sin through infirmity—but he does not keep on that road. He prays, "Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life." (Psalm 139:24).
Question: What is it to indulge sin?
Answer 1: To give the…

Reflections
Things are always different
things are ever changing
looking through reflections
one gets lost
in a mad house made of glass
one throws stones
but the stones must be much bigger
just go home
sit there in your room and do not cry
feel the hollow emptiness deep inside
don't go near the fun house
it's not fun
the madman in the shadows has a gun
it is only made of words that make you…

The Tongue
Stand naked and alone before the whole wide world -
Bleed beneath the knife in broad day light -
. . . . . . . . yet no one sees . . .
The mind convulsed with truths and bursting
- fish upon the rapids leaping, bent to spawn,
- intent to speak one word, one radient rainbow gem
sparkling bold and glorious . . .
The tongue clacks softly in an orifice of dust,
no other sound will utter;
the damned tongue no…

Late Friday, the FDA announced that they were approving a new drug --
Effient, Eli Lilly's new blood thinner -- even though this drug comes with extremely dangerous and potentially deadly risks.
The drug is so dangerous that the FDA has technically approved it only for specific patients, people getting angioplasty. Here's the catch: In the study the approval was based on, patients taking Effient faced "a greater risk of significant, sometimes fatal bleeding" when compared to…

I had the lonely child's habit of making up stories and holding conversations with imaginary persons, and I think from the very start my literary ambitions were mixed up with the feeling of being isolated and undervalued. I knew that I had a facility with words and a power of facing unpleasant facts, and I felt that this created a sort of private world in which I could get my own back for my failure in everyday life.
