Oh, Robbie - WHAT?? (Only it better not be something ugly about Range Rovers ;-p)
the stylist morphs into Edward Scissorhands?

LMAO!

When I landed on this page I saw Ubu's and Pru's reply to d's girl about Rover, I felt really bad, then I backed up a page to see the details of poor Rover's demise. I don't feel so bad now. Buy something that's safe to drive Taylor! That's a good mechanic you have there.
hahaha! Let me guess - you thought one of my dogs had died? that is too funny!
Not funny at all if one of my dogs had died, but funny the way it read... oh- you know what I mean! ;-p

(strawberry to Larry; ty Pru & Ubu. hehe)
You know that Sinead look is back, right?
Who here feels like daring Aggie to run a new avatar of her and her new 'do?

And, d.....From what I've learned about Range Rovers over the years, you're lucky she lasted that long. At this point, she's turning into the mangy old worn-out cur who's likely to sink her teeth into you the first time you ask her to do something she doesn't like. Her time is past. Don't let her take you down with her. Move On. This is an Ex-Rover. Git a new li'l doggie.
yeah, yeah, Snagg, I know. That she's 15 years old & I've had her for 10 years is remarkable for a Land Rover, you're right. You guys are great to humor me, thanks.
And I'm not gonna replace her. I have my beloved Little White, I'm becoming a one-car woman.
The only thing is... HOW WILL I HAUL STUFF NOW?! I really need to haul stuff. A lot. Why, just in the past week I've needed to haul shelving units, drain pipe extensions for my downspouts, a chest of drawers. I somehow need to haul stuff all the time. I pride myself on being creative & resourceful - guess I'll be putting those skills to the test now. Hey - once a month I could rent a p/u from Enterprise & do all my hauling in one day! ah..... I feel much better now. Ya'll send me a bill for the therapy session. Thanks. '-)
Am I the only whiny baby who has rants today?

I started a series of things to do today at 10am:
- get new homeowner's insurance & car insurance
- go to Tax Commissioner's office for new titles & plates for my vehicles
- go to DMV & get new Driver's License.

Guesstimated I'd be done by around 2pm & could put in a good afternoon of work.

Nope. Got done @ 5:30pm.

I'm tired.

:-P
Tomorrow morning some drone from the Water Dept is going to schlep around and try to find a "leak" somewhere on our property. We haven't particularly noticed our water bill going up or anything, but they sent us a letter assuring us that we've had a problem since January. (Thanks for waiting five months to alert us, assholes.)
I have absolutely no idea where this alleged leak may be, but it sure ain't in the house. What we REALLY don't get is that they said that it's OUR responsibility to deal with this leak. WTF...?
Anything before the meter is theirs, anything after the meter is yours. Good luck.

I took out a special insurance for water and electrical mishaps of that ilk, and had a leak in the copper pipe in my laundry room a few months later. It is worth it.
48 is waaaaayyyy to young to die, just found out about a friend who passed away!!!
Oh, I'm sorry, RRC. How sad.
My condolences RRC. It always comes as a shock.
