TBD on Ning

I was looking at lck's Picture thread and Maricel's pictures of her kids science project reminded me of one my son had.

It was on nutrition. He had six mice. divided them into three groups. and for two weeks put them on the following diet. He kept a log of activity and weight. Results;

First two mice:  Fed regular hampster food and water

Second two mice: fed his favorite cereal; Fruit Loops (dry) and water

Third two mice. Dad's diet of Beer and Pretzels.

Kept notes for two weeks.

First two mice: very energetic and healthy.

Second two mice:  lost weight, Died

Third two mice. Hair became very curly and unruly, Very lethargic, slept a lot. But recovered quickly when switched to hampster food.

We had pictures, don't know if he still has them.

He quit eating Fruit Loops.

I didn't take the logical path and switch to hampster food.

Do you have any stories and or pictures of kids science projects?

"Blessed are those who run around in little circles for they shall be known as big wheels!"
I liked the one in my kids school about being responsible parents. (A Baby)
They gave the kids an egg. They had to babysit it 24 hours a day.
When this idea was over it was funny:
One kid shot his with a bow and arrow.
A bunch of kids dropped theirs.
A bunch lost their egg.
Pushed them down a slide.
Put them in a swing.
I can’t remember how many made it safely back to school.
Funny
I'm just a big kid and last year I made my own solar oven with real tin foil and cardboard and flour paste. Kind of like a ghetto easy bake oven only safer cause it doesn't work at all.
No , Silly, I put it together with the flour paste.............................My husband said to me that NASA called and they want their oven back!
