My Rant!
Sense the people of Oregon passed the bill to tax the rich for the cost of our schools.

I went to our clinic to have a blood test. Everyone was new.
Three doctors quit and are moving to another state. They laid off their nurses and put the patients on the other overloaded doctors. My doctor is still there, wonder how long that will last?.
When is this pure BS going to end?
the freakin' tailgaters in ugly pick up trucks, then on 33 a big pickup cuts right in front of me, almost over top of me, then on the way a dude in a truck turns left right in front of me at the light, I had green..
I give them all the finger.
Maybe my car is too shiny and it is blinding them dickheads>
That has to be it Beth, it's your shiny car.
Darroll
A good example of how our society has changed over the years. Used to be doctors were there to help people. Now most doctors seem to have only one interest. That is "GETTING FREEKING RICH". Why did this happen.
Many reasons I'm sure. Not the least of which is the emergence of the health insurance industry. The change from public owned hospitals to "for profit" hospitals. And numerious other reasons. This is a glaring example of why capitalism does not work for everything. It seems pretty clear to me that a doctor who will move to another state due to a tax increase did not have my health as one of his prime concern. How can anyone believe that competition and capitalism has improved service in the health care field. If you do, do you also think that organs for transplant should go to the highest bidder?
The doctors have to pay around $180,000 per year in mal-practice insurance. Some have school loans to pay back.
Capitalism does work even though it’s slanted in the other direction.
Our only hospital is going broke. People go have an operation and forget to pay their bill (Illegal’s mostly and we have plenty).
When I was a prostitute in the labor market, I sold my butt to the highest bidder.(state taxes considered, greed maybe).
In Oregon they have ran off most of the businesses by their liberal tax/spend way of doing business. All of the people that make over $250,000 per year are packing up. When they dry up that tax base it will be lowered. The state has cut nothing and are still hiring.
I don’t think the feds can fix this.
We are starting to look for a nice clean veterinary clinic in Idaho to go for our checkups.
I think someone spiked my toothpaste with happy juice. I'm rant-free.
One of my favorite moments at my job is when the ladies get off of a certain elevator and use a large postal scale to weigh themselves. They ever-so-carefully take off their shoes before stepping on the scales...But they leave on about 87 lbs of jewelery - Huge clunky necklaces and bracelets and earrings the size of bicycle rims and god knows what all else.

I like to hide around the corner and when the scale flashes their weight, I yell out something like "EIGHT HUNDRED SEVENTEEN POUNDS. PLEASE REMOVE MAIL CART FROM SCALE."
That happened to me a couple weeks ago Aggie, then the alerts stopped all on their own.
Good rant Maria! Excellant! The cussing helps make a good rant.
I have worked second shift at my job for nearly 10 years. I like that shift. I feel awake then. There is no one around but me and my computer. It is my world, and do not f---** with it. I came in this afternoon and I am being promoted to day shift. Day shift--I hate it. I am not normal, and I do not want to me. I hate this freggin company, and I need to quit.
Could you decline the promotion? If not, you'll get used to day shift, or you could quit and enjoy retirement.
Well done, Maria!!! You should have gone ahead and ran through Carlin's list. Five out of the seven would have worked in your situation.
