An old Jr. High physics question. "Which Weighs the Most? A Pound of Lead, or a Pound of Feathers"?

Reminds me of another question: "If you are holding all the weight you can possibly hold and somebody adds a feather to all that weight, will you be able to hold all that weight with the addition of the feather?"

My guess is that

a) a pound of feathers is heavier than a pound of lead, and

b) since you're already holding all the weight you can possibly hold, the feather would be more than you could hold.
