Eggs, white beans??? You guys in the lower Appalachians sure know how to screw up a Ramp Feed. It's Ramps cooked in a big iron kettle. Hog jowl cooked in a cake pan, then potatoes fried in the grease and ramp liquer poured over the potatoes and hog jowl. White beans are for eating with bacon grease and field greens.

For the same reason that Octopus is singular and Octopi is plural. Jeez, dontcha know nuthin'?
