TBD on Ning

Sort of like "Rant and Rave" except lets rant about the rest of the human race.

Ridiculous TV shows
Neighbors
Other drivers

I'll start with the TV show "Deal or No Deal". Sometimes I turn on the local news a few minutes early and catch the end of this show. Where's the entertainment here? It's a frickin' COIN TOSS with contestants who were instructed to act as outrageous as possible. No skill, no talent. What's up with the phony phone call upstairs? It's just a calculation of the odds.

Are you ever embarrassed to be a member of the human race?

Yes they do. I remember watching shows like that when I was a kid. Or was that last week? Sometimes my memories and timelines get confused.
And I HATE it when I watch a commercial, and at the end I have no idea what it was for.
Too many people thrive on drama and the news networks know it.
Gimme a break I sure deserve it
It's time I made it to the top.
Gimme a break I’m looking forward
Get behind me pull out every stop

I want a happy ending

to my piece of the cake

Gimme a break
Gimme a break

Mental shut-ins who simply can't believe that everybody else in the world doesn't think the same way as they themselves do.

"The government is spending a MILLION DOLLARS to build access ramps for the handicapped?! I'M not handicapped! How DARE they spend my tax money so irresponsibly!"

"How DARE the government make me wear a seatbelt! I'VE never had an accident!"

"Cajun seasoning on POPCORN?! Why, I've never HEARD of such a thing!"

They'd seem a lot less stupid if they weren't actual quotes....
And another thing! Whose bright idea was it to reward kids just for participating? My granddaughter played T-ball this past summer, they didn't keep score. DIDN'T KEEP SCORE? Everybody got a trophy at the end of the season. God forbid we should teach them or prepare them for life's disappointments. Instead, let's teach them that as long as they're breathing, they're participating in life and they'll be rewarded.

Part of America's success in the 20th century was capitalism. Young people saw that hard work had rewards. If you couldn't find a job you sat down, used your head, did some research and leg work and started your own business.

Give me a break! I wonder if this snow and cold is starting to get to me?
LMAO. The weather definately affects our mood.

I forgot about the red "F". We can't hurt their feelings because they were lazy and didn't work hard enough to get a "D".

I laughed at my company when, maybe 7 or 8 years ago, they started rewarding drivers with bonuses if they did their job and did it correctly. WTF. You don't reward for this, if they don't do their job and do it correctly YOU FIRE THEM. Firing used to be all the incentive one needed to do the best he could.

The stickers on the fender indicate the years I did my job like I'm supposed to. Thanks for rewarding me for doing my job. They called their rewards program "The Emerald Club".
hahahahahaha
That is interesting. I wonder what this study cost. They could have just asked you or Kathy or myself. I wouldn't have charged much, how about you?

I read recently where there was a study that showed that young women were more likely to have a one night stand after a night of heavy drinking than had they not drank. I wonder what that study cost us.
ROFLMAO. You were one of the ones that didn't drink, right?
That sucks Bee. I think, in so many instances, medical personnel go to work dreading it, I don't know if they're overworked or just hate their job. I'm sure most of them are in it for the money, they just want to put in their time and go home, they really don't care about the patients unless they get sued, then they care.
