TBD

TBD on Ning

I live on a tree lined street that is full of leaves this time of year. It has squirrels jumping all over the street. I was on my was to work this afternoon, and a squirrel jumped in front of me, like they always do. This time he did not make it, I heard a clunk. I killed him. I had to go on to work, and there all people are all over my neighborhood that were out. I feel so bad about this.

You're not in prison now are you Felicia? What you do? OMG
Now, I will have to go back home on that same road. and what if it is still there--yikes!!!!! I hope they cleaned it up
If it's still there, you can have it for breakfast.
And then there are some squirrels that think they are tough guys.

Are we still talking about squirrels, or macho guys with... you know... bushy tails????????????
I've had a few run in's with squirrels. A memorable one in Stamford (CT) at rush rour (the 'rush' part). Another time I scooped the little bugger up and rushed him to the vet. He died on the doorstep. I swear they are possitively suicidal this time of year. On the upside, I understand that squirrel pie is delicious.
Sorry, my pet cricket had restless leg syndrome ; I wasn't paying attention.
Just remember Squirrels are tree rats.
with fuzzy tails
when I came down the street last night, someone had cleaned it up. Mostly likely the city maintance dept. It is all over, thanks god.---thanks friends.
I'm so glad to hear that, Blondie. Now you can relax. It was just the little fellow's time. ((((((((HUGS)))))))
A number of years ago I hit a dog. He, like the squirrel, jumped from an embankment immediately in front of my car. Unfortunately the dog had to be put down. I was upset about it even though it wasn't my fault.
