...and could use some input from people more expert on the facts than I am.

Now...What do you think of this idea that Tagg Romney is actually letting a cat out of a bag when he said that his dad "didn't really want the presidency" ?

Because, I thought about it and....If you think like a rapacious, money-grubbing businessman bastard like Mitt Romney, and not like your typical politician...What if Romney really DIDN'T want the office of the Presidency, and was actually after all of that delicious, super-secretive  SuperPac money ?

Think about it: As I understand it, all of that leftover SuperPac cash is HIS now, and he doesn't have to reveal or report a damn dime of it. Like any sharp cookie, Mittens knows that you have to spend money to make money - And if you can get OTHER people to spend THEIR money, for money that'll wind up in YOUR pocket....

After all, looking at the day-to-day standard operating procedures at Bain Capital - They swept in, racked up HUGE debt on YOUR property, and then walked away with millions while you crashed and burned....There IS a prior history here, a comparison to the way Mitty operates.

Wow, I had heard that Tagg Romney said that and I just dismissed it as b.s.  I did not think of it this way, very interesting.  I, too, would like to hear from some people with more economic expertise.  I have absolutely NONE.

one way to look at it i guess....but that would mean he did the same thing when he began running back in 2006...could be but truthfully i think he wanted it..as the final crown to ensure he was special ...plus then he would be able to be appointed to all sorts of board of directorships and essentially make lots of money for being clueless and jerking off which he had as his strong suit anyway

I hear Mitt Romney talk and I hear a guy who wouldn't lose a wink of sleep over pulling off a bigger hustle than Bernie Madoff.

I mentioned my theory to a friend who said that he didn't think Romney would have done that, because "he already has too much money". I told him that I didn't think the concept of "too much money" exists for Mittens. I think that Romney could very well be a more of soul-less money-making machine than a real human being, a vaguely psychotic grasper who will NEVER have "enough" money. I'm already quite positive that he couldn't possibly care less about how many people he's destroyed or will destroy before he takes the Great Dirt Nap, and that as long as he lives, he will go right on taking money out of any pocket that is careless enough to get within his reach.

PA.......Romney may have wanted it back in 2006. The Republican party looked a little different then. With the election of all those Tea Party folks, the face of the Republican party has changed. And take a look at all the dingbats that were part of the Republican primary race......from Herman Cain to Rick Perry...and then throw in Michele Bachman, Newt Gingrich....and you got a bunch of nuts....lol. Ron Paul may have been the only one who wasn't influenced by the Tea Party...lol. It wouldn't surprise me if Romney at one time was going to use his accomplishment in implementing health care in his state, but with the election of Obama and his health care plan, the far right wanted to fight it, which meant now Romney had to distance himself from his own health care plan....lol. Romney may have looked at the field and said to himself....."what the hell am I doing here"??....lol.  But of course, a lot of money was collected and spent....and who knows where it all ended it up at..........Wink.......lol.

I  don't think by law the money automatically goes to the candidate, though it could get there.  As a matter of filing for a PAC there has to be a designated treasurer who would have the funds to disperse or use as they see fit or are otherwise directed.  If it is decided to give cash, goods or services to anybody it becomes income to whoever receives it unless it is a charitable entity.

As far as Romney is concerned he probably doesn't need the money and his days as a power player in the party has greatly diminished and will further diminish over time.

I believe as a fact the Democrat PACs actually have more cash remaining than do the Republican bias  PACs.  It probably can be assumed these PACs will probably donate funds to continuing campaigns for 2014 and 2016 as much as cashing out in favor of individuals.

It is interesting that if Mitt didn't want the job, then what was the point?  And the point might have been if not him, then whom?

His ridiculous flip-flopping certainly gives credence to your theory...

I think he wanted it bad and this stuff from Tag is just a smoke screen to cover failing to get what he wanted for the first time in his life.
And why do republican give there kids strange names?

They're strange.

"I think he wanted it bad and this stuff from Tag is just a smoke screen to cover failing to get what he wanted for the first time in his life."

                                                  P.A.

 I agree with P.A.

I dont think money even blows up Romneys skirt like POWER does. He wanted to be the King-and Believed that it was due him. IMO.

That and running for President not just once, but twice lol...

Republicans , for some reason that escapes me, think that they are entitled ....

All republicans are entitled, they believe God is as Republican...?

gotta remember tagg is the dickwit who said he wanted to punch out obama for the way he treated his daddy...and this is a public statement from a 42 year old man....he may be the acknowledged idiot of the family..
