We haven't put up a tree in years - Two rambunctious German Shepherds constantly grab-assing, a fully-loaded xmas tree and a small living room is a recipe for wreckage.

My cat thinks the artificial tree is just a huge cat toy that we put up once a year to keep him amused for the month of December. He's pretty good with it but I'm a total control freak with the cat anyway. All I have to do is start scolding and he backs off.

Oh, I don't put up a tree at all.  Instead I do a typical "guy" thing......I put up lights around my windows (inside), never take them down, and just plug them in during the Holiday Season.

Yup, works for me.

I guess that was a rave.....uh, I don't have any rants at this point.

I can't believe the Bikini Deli has been closed for over a year now and no budding entrepreneur has taken the initiative to reopen it. A prime location next to the police station, bank, and Radio Shack. Well I hope Tonya, Sasha, and Gretchen found other jobs.

Billy-Bob, Jethro and Goober have their eyes on that very location, and are planning to open a brokerage and bait shop even as you speak.

Went to PetSmart and to get dog food yesterday, and one of the area rescue groups was there having an adopt-a-puppy day. MUST....RESIST......MUST.....USE...WILL POWER.....
