TBD

TBD on Ning

Via internet stream you can listen to a variety of interesting music.

Google WQNA to find the stream. The show is called Fear and Loathing in Springfield and it airs 6 - 9PM CST on Sunday evenings.

It may uplift the downtrodden and down trod the uplifted. Some may faint, others may experience moments of rage and in some cases hilarity.

zactly,  .............I keep looking at it in disbelief but noooo that's really their hair. Now THAT'S funny.
Relent or repent?
What a hoot. Where did you come up with that?

Criminy. A skeevy lumbar vertebrae, a couple of missed shows and the knives come out. You people are vicious.

Robbie - Same place he got this, I'd imagine - His "Special" record collection.

I knew there was a reason I liked you.

Just started listening, but there are several of my faves on the list tonight. Plus a whole lot of stuff that MAY become my new faves!

Let me know what leapt out and knocked ya sideways.
I've Got A Feeling always gives me a feeling. Mystery Train was new to me but really liked it. Little Sister was cool, but not maybe the best. Green Onion, Dude, It doesn't get any better than this.
Yes
Next Sunday: The Annual Labor Day Show. I'm trying to think of a good "So Long And Kiss My Ass" song to dedicate to my job of the past 33 years, seeing as I'm retiring from it by the end of this year.

You da man, and obviously you'll find the perfect song to fit your Grand Goodbye, but you got me thinking...

Here are just some general Labor Day/I HATE MY JOB songs that came to mind:

  • To Whom It May Concern--Million Dead
  • We Gotta Get Outta This Place--The Animals
  • Soul Suckin' Jerk--Beck
  • Take This Job and Shove It--The Dead Kennedys
  • Maggie's Farm--Dylan or The Specials
  • Monkey Suit--The Pernice Brothers
  • Lost My Job--Alex Chilton

Congratulations on your monkey ship coming in... :>)
