It's only 28 degrees here, but it'll be mid to upper 40's on Friday and Sunday. Maybe some of this snow will melt! I'm just glad I don't need to go out at all for a while. I tend to stock up on…Continue

I had the top 3 shelves of the tall bookcase full of family pictures. I decided to go back to showing some of my fav music boxes. I have 3 large ones on the top shelf now, with a few family pics on…Continue

For the last few days, I've noticed that my laptop 'freezes' at times. At first, I thought it was the 'game' I was playing, but then it happened when I was playing Solitaire--the one that comes with all Windows computers. It was happening frequently, which worried me.
So, since it's been 18 months since I did a Reset on this 6-year-old laptop, I thought maybe that's what it needed. My other option was to ask my computer guru to look at it, to see if they could see what the…

A few days ago, I decided to clear out my huge graphics folder. When I had pages at another site, I used a lot of graphics. I had 'theme pages': everything from my favorite tv shows to my favorite colors, etc. My Graphics folder, even after a bit of weeding, was still 20.2 GB. Within two days, that 'huge' folder was down to 9GB! And there's still almost 50 folders to go through. I'm sure most of those are Duplicates, so...I don't expect to keep many…

Am I the only one who notices that there are 'new' drug names almost daily?? Some of them are so far out, ridiculous that it sounds like teenagers are naming them. Not to mention, if they'd stop all the TV advertising, they could cut prices! I just saw another one: Fasenra. I don't know about everyone else, but 'I' don't tell my doctor which meds I'd like to try! I think my doctors are much more capable of choosing which one fits my symptoms. Out of my 6…

I've been trying to 'organize' lately. I realized I have a total of 9 email addresses: 1 ATT.net, 4 Gmail & 4 Outlook. There are a number of reasons for this. I'd like to 'downsize', but for now I need 3 for different web pages. Since Gmail no longer notifies you of comments/messages on social sites, I had to switch to Outlook.com for those. And I 'like' Gmail for other things. I might be able to get rid of 2 Gmail; but we'll see. As soon as I get the new option in Gmail of 'changing'…

Nice to hear from you! I am never on TBD anymore, mostly since I'm not on my computer like I used to be. I am still reading, though. I'm currently sloggin through an interesting history of the Orkney Islands called "Storm's Edge: Life, Death and Magic in the Islands of Orkney" by Peter Marshall.
Hope you're doing well and thank you for reaching out!
Hello Dianne! I finally got back on here...just had to remember how this play works compared to NOTH & B! LOL!
Hi, DeeBee, I'm hanging in there. Hope you're doing well too.
Thank you, Merry Christmas to you too!
Hi, DeeBee,, thanks for the friend request, I just accepted. I've been spending a lot of time on the SeniorForums.com site; there's a lot of nice people on that site too.
Hi Dianne! I forget about this place, until I get a notification LOL! I played with my layout and got it out of the summery one into a more fall looking (almost) one! LOL!
