TBD on Ning

Information

Slipped Away

We've grown older. As we grow we gather friends, especially in these days of Internet and social networking. But as the years pass we begin to lose the ones we love and while we are able to move on as we should, there is a part of us that wants to hold on...and to not let the world forget that someone existed, did their time and left us.

This is the place where those that are gone remain alive in our memories.

I begin it with some TBD members that live-on in my own heart, but everyone's memories are welcome. Open a discussion for anyone close to you that you choose not to forget.  Post photos, post the laughter, post the joy...post the tears.

This group is for them.

BEVO XIV Born as Sunrise Studly, Bevo XIV became known as a special animal who engaged with fans at University of Texas games and while on his ranch, where he was leader of the herd. Bevo XIV began his reign in 2004 when he was only two years old, and he retired from his duties as mascot shortly before his death on Friday, Oct. 16, 2015, after fighting Bovine Leukemia Virus.

Donna Geisler passed away November 22nd, 2013. She was a great lady, a mother a grandmother and great grandmother. She was also my good friend and neighbor who introduced me to a Grief Group after I lost my bride. She loved to dance and when she was doing the line dances she looked like she was in another world. There is a ceiling tile in the Edgewater, FL Elks lounge that says " In memory of Donna Geisler DANCER."

November 18 marks the 14th anniversary of the Aggie Bonfire collapse which killed 12 and injured 27.

On November 18 and every day, we remember the 12 who died and the impact the tragedy had on the Aggie family.

The Bonfire Memorial continues to be a place of reflection and remembrance for the Aggie family. Learn about the symbolism associated with its design at Bonfire.tamu.edu.
