What comes after the initial YES WE CAN slogan? Looking for the unspoken follow up to this phrase, both positive and negative. Call it the fill in the blank game. Here are some examples:

YES WE CAN...say one thing and do another.
YES WE CAN...vote to raise everyone's taxes and not pay our own.
YES WE CAN...fan the flames of racism rather than judge people by the content of their character.
YES WE CAN...screw things up just as much as the Republicans, but in a different way.
YES WE CAN...what?

Marge -

As I've said in previous posts, I think it's a great concept. However, I don't trust Obama. I don't trust ANY politician. I don't believe it will be all milk and honey like they're promising. It never is. It won't be cheaper and better care. It will be more expensive, substandard care. That's my problem. Not with the idea, but with the consequences that I believe will ensue. When had government ever come in under budget and ahead of schedule?

I wish I had a magic wand - I'd wave it and fix everything. I mean that.
kudos Toby
Food and shelter are even more basic than health care. It seems to me that people could make a good case for everyone having a "right" to those things, too.
YES WE CAN....."Impeach OBAMA!!"
YES WE CAN...indict this posse for criminal conspiracy and torture.

YES WE CAN...raise a stink over waterboarding, but say nothing about people being beheaded. (I can only imagine that if someone had kidnapped and was threatening to kill your child, you would simply politely ask them where your child was and if they refused to tell you, you would shrug your shoulders and say, "Well, I did the best I could. I guess my kid will just have to die." You certainly wouldn't take any stronger action against the person who had information that could save your child's life.)
YES WE CAN...be a torture apologist. Release the memos to show how many witches confessed! It is not torture it's 'enhanced interrogation' What's that I'm hiding behind my back? Just the Geneva Convention.
So, let a bunch of innocent people die instead? It's people like you that make the world a scary and dangerous place. Stand up for what's right and defend the innocent, for crying out loud. The thing is, even though you obviously wouldn't stand up for me, I would stand up for you. Not because I expect anything in return, but because it's the right thing to do.

Torture apologist. Give me a break. If I'm a torture apologist, then YOU SIR are a terror apologist. You've heard that they behead people, right? You are the problem, not the solution. By the way, when have the terrorists EVER followed the Geneva Conventions? That would be never.
HERE! HERE! The Islamofascists don't give a rat's ass about your political persuasion. They exist solely for the purpose of maiming and killing in the name of their dirt worshipping prophet. They could care less what you think or say. If you're not killing in the name of...or bowing to Mecca, you are an infidel and worthy of execution.

I say that if they want to die for Allah, let's help them before they take any more innocent lives. Just be sure to soak your bombs and bullets in pig's blood so that they can't go to "paradise".
Yes We Can Keep Our Guns

Yes We Can Keep Our Currency

Yes We Can Retain Our Sovereignty

Yes We Can Worship Our God

Yes We Can Refuse and Resist

Yes We Can Fight Until Death
Do you actually fear losing any of these rights expect maybe the death part?
Considering the stranglehold that The Trilateral Commission and The Council on Foreign Relations have on our political process, yes.
