It's Friday.
Chucks is gone and so is his Q&A Group. As JayLee feared so are the Vibes. Since there is no Question and answer group there appears to be no check in.
So Let's do it over here. It's the start of the weekend! Time to have fun.
There is all kinds of bad news.
1. Looks like tbd is splintering.
2. After two days the TBD Stalwarts has only 7 members.
3. The Stock Market tanked yesterday.
4. The end of the world is near.
5. The Zombies are still here
Everybody check in and give me some good news.

TBD memories - my first social networking site. I believe I joined in December of 2008 after being prodded with the line "you don't make friends easily - maybe someone will like you there".
I did become smitten with quite a few of the members and the antics of TBD became part of my daily routine. Being telephone stalked by a psychopathic woman and calling a meeting at work on how to handle the situation, having one of the Hitler clones on site becoming so wound-up he started insulting my dog, Kat's reprimand for the requiem I posted for "Lonely Virgin", a trip to NYC for a day of sight seeing and talk with the first friend I gained on TBD...almost as good as sex.
Hoo boy Quinn....now, that could be any one of a number of "friends" I made. I do recall one guy who seemed to be leading a double life here, and you were not happy that I stated I missed him. And of course, there was my "bro", who kept shooting and shooting at his own foot until he was history. I kinda attract people like them in RL too. LOL!
Q, I'm wondering if you're off by a year....I think I might have joined in the latter part of 2008. Actually, I joined once, and floundered about for a couple of weeks. I quit, and watched the site periodically to see what in the heck was going on, before rejoining.
I think the first thing I ever posted was a discussion lamenting the fact that Jeff Foxworthy had misled people as to what a Redneck was....I felt that what he described was more accurately describing White Trash. That thread really took off, and got really nasty, and even racially offensive. Kat jumped in at one point, and gave me a condescending lecture, by way of a post to the thread, about the use of "rough humor". I finally asked to have the thread closed to future comments.
As you all have probably noticed, I'm much too swave and deboner nowadays to get involved in some sensational monkeyshines like that! LOL!
Wow. Great posts the last day or so here, reminiscing. I've met a bunch of tbd'ers, too, although not as many as Robbie. I'm pretty sure I've met over 15, less than 20. Robbie & I crossed paths on a patio one evening & shared a coupla burgers. '-)
And Ducatiman.... well, we met, became the best of friends... & soulmates. Over 2 years ago.
I'll post more later; there were so many great times I had on TBD1 & great times I've had meeting folks from here. But now I must turn in for the night.
G'night, my friends. I'm grateful for you guys.
