RANDOM THOUGHTS!!!!!

I have roamed all the way back to page 6 of the discussions. All Right!!! I admit that I kept getting distracted by all the goings on, both witty and serious, while I was gone. It took me a while to catch up. But I couldn't find my favorite discussion. "Random Thoughts". Finely on a random chance, I looked in the Games Dept. There it is. I don't understand. Who thought "Random Thoughts" should be in the games group? It's not fair. When I play games I have to concentrate. How can my ADD brain concentrate on a game, knowing that Random Thoughts is within a key stroke. I think all us random thinkers should rebel. If we can stay on subject long enough. Actually, I guess organized random thinking is an oxymoron.

 

Where do you think Random Thoughts should be?

Have you considered simply renting a floor sander? Most well-stocked hardware stores have that option, as well as do some other businesses.

By the way, I heard that Delta bought Porter-Cable, so I imagine there won't be a whole lot of difference between their products before much longer...

Good point, Snagg. If it is for this much of a task, I would rent. Who needs to own a big piece of equipment after the job is done? I thought you were just talking about a little piece of household equipment like your basic drill or jigsaw.

I was going to use it as a centerpiece for the Thanksgiving table, or start a tool museum in the basement.

Thanks, darroll, but I use real tools. I even have a backup battery for my Ryobi cordless drill. '-)

So do I. And one of my favorite tools is my handsaw, it's a fat max and cuts on the push as well as the pull. I also have a telescoping ladder. I would like a real tool that was done up with lepoard skin as a tribute to Edith Prickly.
