TBD on Ning

A great example.
Her diary . . . . . then, His diary

Dear Diary:

Tonight, I thought my husband was acting weird. We had made plans to meet at a bar to have a drink. I was shopping with my friends all day long, so I thought he was upset at the fact that I was a bit late, but he made no comment on it.

Conversation wasn't flowing, so I suggested that we go somewhere quiet so we could talk. He agreed, but he didn't say much. I asked him what was wrong. He said, 'Nothing.' I asked him if it was my fault that he was upset. He said he wasn't upset, that it had nothing to do with me, and not to worry about it.

On the way home, I told him that I loved him. He smiled slightly, and kept driving. I can't explain his behavior. I don't know why he didn't say, 'I love you, too.' When we got home, I felt as if I had lost him completely, as if he wanted nothing to do with me anymore. He just sat there quietly, and watched TV. He continued to seem distant and absent.

Finally, with silence all around us, I decided to go to bed. About 15 minutes later, he came to bed. To my surprise, he responded to my caress, and we made love. But I still felt that he was distracted, and his thoughts were somewhere else. He fell asleep - I cried. I don't know what to do. I'm almost sure that his thoughts are with someone else. My life is a disaster...

My harley wouldn't start today, but at least I got laid.

What an awful thing to happen.
His Harley broke.
My wife bought me a book. She said that I should read it because it would enhance out relationship. The books title? Women Are From Mars, Men Are Wrong.
Stupider? You don't get it! Try real hard to imagine this: the sun is shining, roads are dry, it's 80 degrees. The Harley won't start. Mine has fuel injection, I can't just roll it down a hill and pop the clutch, there's no kick start, I need enough battery power to work the fuel pump. Can you understand now Maria. Stupider? HA.
Can't you jump start it off the snow blower?
Vast difference in diaries there.
Yep, that about sums it up!
Larry keeps telling me men are just simple beings... I guess he's right about that. Hmmmmm :)
No doubt ! I have seen cases where the diaries have been switched ;-)
I just love this thread, it is so on the money. The ladies are wondering, as did Kittycat, why didn't he just say that? Because there was nothing you could do about it, he told her it had nothing to do with her and not to worry about it. We keep things like this to ourselves so as not to appear whiny and weak. Women feel they need to interpret everything we say and everything we don't say. lol. No interpretation needed ladies, really. Yes, we differ, you have to love it.

The men are now saying that's right, the women are wondering what I'm really trying to say.
Tim's right again, sigh. My Harley wouldn't start twice so far in the last month. I don't want to bother poor Kittycat with my problems, which she would just end up feeling horrible that she couldn't help me. Thus, we just keep it to ourselves to suffer through. Guys don't want to add more drama to your lives. lol
Maria? Sweetie? And you should listen a lot.

Was my puncuation ok?
