Garbage dumping...

I am in a stip mall parking lot, parked off to the side do some work stuff, checking e-mail etc.. and I see a shopping cart in the middle of the lot which is not unusual given where I am, some guy parks a few spaces from it gets out of his car and drops what looks like an empty plastic bag in the cart, not more than 2 minutes later a car pulls up next to the cart the window goes down and a lady drops a paper bag into the cart...full of garbage?? 

So now I am interested in how long it will stay there, how many more people will empty their car garbage into the cart, after another hour I saw 3 more cars pull up and drop bags, cups etc. into the cart.

I collect garbage during the day as I am sure anyone else does that is on the road, coffee cups, napkins etc. I bring mine home and dump it my own trash.
Can't they wait to get home to empty the garbage? Has anyone ever done this? Is this littering? Are they lazy and figure it is an easy way to dump thier stuff?

Are you sure this isn't a drug & money laundering drop off/pick up place, z100? FIVE people pull up to a shopping cart & drop things in it in an hour?! That seems really crazy to me, too!

hahaha... I'm running away from dealing w/my home being flooded; we're quite the pair today. I like your idea- we'll just tell z that we aren't really hijacking his thread, we're using it to dump. ;-p

and p.s..... a 38 hour fast?!? That's simply cruel & unusual punishment. I'm sorry Felicia. :-(

Trash begets more trash. First someone dumps something, so it must be OK. The next person says here's a good place and I didn't pick it, so I'll dump mine and onward and onward etc, etc.

The other day while on the ferry to Bolivar peninsulaI observe an old Texas custom that I thought had died out.

It is always nice to see that some people do not let modern laws change those revered old customs.

This is a texas pick up truck with empty budwiser cans in the bed. Don't polute. Just buy a truck with a sliding back window and you can throw your empty cans in the back without stopping.
