The Star of the Republic Museum at Washington-on-the-Brazos proudly presents "Love & Lust: Romantic and Sexual Relationships in the Republic of Texas" with free BlueBell Ice Cream! Saturday March 27th from 1:00 - 2:00 pm or 3:00 - 4:00 pm for an expose' of the more intimate side of life in the mid-19th century, created specifically for college students.

 

Non-students are welcome, but will be subject to the adult public admission fee of $5.00. No one under age of 18 will be admitted.

Turns out it was part of a Blinn College Texas history class for extra credit. Learned during the Republic of Texas all women were beautiful because there were so few to go around. Ladies should not ask men questions about mans health. Men could ask no questions just nod head and say yes.
