Of the last 4 pets, 2 were rescued from the shelter, and 2 taken off the streets. 1 of the ones from the shelter would have been put down the next day, and 1 from the streets would not have survived another 24 hours on his own. It's amazing what a little kindness and compassion can do. (for animals, and humans)
