After spending the previous 16 weeks picking and nameing the most influential games--I have decided to try a little something different this week--and hopefully will be fun for you to do. I have given u the information on where all the teams stand as of today--I would like for u to pick--and name what u feel will be the most influential games of the day. Try to be creative, like I am--(U know me--I am always very trying!!) Hopefully we can come up with some good ones!

As u can see--The AFC has 8 teams still fighting the wildcard race--with 5 of those teams having a 1st place position, and 3 of those teams right behind them with a 2nd place position. The NFL think they figure out a tiebreaker strategy.--I am posting it here---If u can figure out what they are saying--U should be an NFL headcoach!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When the NFL realigned into eight four-team divisions to accommodate the arrival of the Houston Texans in 2002, the league adopted new tiebreaking rules.

Common opponents is the third tiebreaker within a division after head-to-head games and division record because each of the four teams will have 14 common games in the 16-game schedule. The owners also moved the strength-of-victory tiebreaker ahead of the strength-of-schedule tiebreaker.

The six postseason participants from each conference are be seeded as follows:
1. The division champion with the best record.
2. The division champion with the second-best record.
3. The division champion with the third-best record.
4. The division champion with the fourth-best record.
5. The Wild Card club with the best record.
6. The Wild Card club with the second-best record.

The following procedures will be used to break standings tiebreakers for postseason playoffs and to determine regular-season schedules.
NOTE: Tie games count as one-half win and one-half loss for both clubs.
Look for the Bengals and the Patriots to lay down. Nothing at stake for them.
Looks like the pats may have lost Welker
All the AFC 8 and 7 teams don't really interest me now. The division leaders are the ones that deserve to go on. I'm not saying that they won't upset someone somehow but....

Just one more time though, I want to see the Chiefs spoil the Broncos hopes of making the cut. I can dream can't I?

I'll pull for the Steelers to make it and the Jets also. It looks like I'm pandering. May as well have Larry and Heart get some excitement. Steel beats Fish anyday. The Jets should be in solely because the Bengals are set.
I hope your team wins.
My team died.
Oh my gosh!!! didn't anyone keep up with the scores for me while I was gone all day??? In case u didn't see it Colts, Saints and Patriots all lost!! Cleavland beat The Jags!!!!! Steelers won their game--but now they need a bunch of teams to lose in order to get in!!
Just checking in. I'm not even watching the Chiefs game. I see the Browns played the spoiler. I'm still trying to sort out who will be in if they win their games. Still too confusing.
Well UBU it is like this, U see if....actually UBU--here is how it is...If the...OkK Ubu--the answer to your question is really simple---If....if....Ahhhh FOOEY!! Just listen to a half time report--and maybe the announcers could figure it out for u!
Ok--half time for the 4 pm games and the scores are

4:15 pm Green Bay Packers (26) Arizona Cardinals (0) FOX
4:15 pm Philadelphia Eagles (0) Dallas Cowboys (17) FOX
4:15 pm Kansas City Chiefs (10) Denver Broncos (10) CBS (Maybe UBU!! Maybe!!)
4:15 pm Baltimore Ravens (14) Oakland Raiders (0) CBS
4:15 pm Washington Redskins (14) San Diego Chargers (13) FOX
4:15 pm Tennessee Titans (7) Seattle Seahawks (7) CBS
U do know that if The Broncos and Ravens both lose--Tonight's Jets/Bengals game is going to be huge--for so many teams!
The Chiefs are doing their part. Up by 13 in the fourth, at least at the moment.
OMFG UBU!!!!!!! The Cheifs are just clobbering the Broncos!!! Ohhhh--if the Jets win tonight---that will just put a cap on the whole day--won't it????
