You're not a Catholic are you?
Easter Monday rounds out the festivities that start with Holy Thursday and Good Friday!
["Festivities" is probably the wrong word to use when talking about the Crucifixion...o, hell, you know what I mean...]
No, I'm not a Catholic. I'm going to go google Easter Monday now. Never heard of it. Easter Sunday, yes. Is there an Easter Tuesday that I should be aware of?
Eating chocolate bunnies is good any day of the week.
Sorry I didn't stick around for the fight, I just punched and ran. I've won a lot of fights that way.

Good night all ranters and ravers.
Flowers
EASTER?!

Oh, for crying out loud...Let's finish one holiday before we start prepping for the next, okay? (The next holiday, by the way, is Dr. Martin Luther King's birthday, not Easter, and there are several others sprinkled in between them as well. Make a special effort and try to find a calendar somewhere. They're fairly ubiquitous.)

Ash Wednesday, Easter Sunday, Easter Monday...I tend to simply refer to the entire Advent season as "The Day They Turned Jesus Into A Lawn Ornament" and leave it at that. I'm just relieved that I don't have another festival-specific set of lights and emblems and hoodoo paraphernalia to hang from the eaves of our house, a cultural tradition that I make a point to ignore anyway. "Looka me! I prove the superiority of my devotion to whatever the hell we're all celebrating by plastering my residence with cheap glittery trash and running up my already-exorbitant electrical bill. How impressed you all must be as you let your dog crap in my yard." Phooey.
Tell us how you really feel...HA!HA!HA!

One good thing about the end of the festive season...the love in your heart being measured by the size of your wallet. I do agree that the neighbours who go overboard with the decor are screaming for attention.
That's why the flaming bag of poo gag on Halloween never gets old. Then again, one need not wait until Halloween to pull that trick off.

Gary young and katidid have calendars posted at the Q&A.
It looks like Aggie sent one for you, Melly. That will be all you're getting. *evil chuckle*
it is freakin' freezing outside and I have to go feed the neighbor's dog and cat.
Yep. A special shipment from Acapulco....oops.....never mind.
