TBD on Ning

We are down to the final 3 games for each team. However what generally is an exciting time for both the players and the fans alike, will not be as joyful as it have been in years past. Week 15 begins with the very tragic death of a Cincinatti Bengals Wide Receiver by the name of Chris Henry. He have been with The Bengals for all 5 years of his NFL career, and he was only 26 years old. Please read all about the tragic situation/accident that took his life on the following thread.

Christmas is a time when the Spirits should be made bright--but when things like this happens, espeically at Christmas time--it makes for a difficult holiday to be celebrated. Let us all send out our thoughts and prayers to Chris Henry's friends and family, as well as the entier Bengals organization. They will be playing thier game against San Diego this Sunday--and to honor Chris--they will all have the #15 (Henry's #) on thier helmets. Even with that said--You and I both know there is no easy way to deal with something like this...so soon.

What are the most influential games for this week? Well...with the exception of 2 or 3 games--they are pretty much ALL influencial, if the Teams that are playing the game want to keep whatever Wildcard hope they might have alive. Of course--just typing that would be too easy to do--so maybe I should find games with more influences then other--huh? Ok--Let me see here.

Perhaps the game with the most "Everybody will be with these folks" AND most influential game as well, can go to the Cincinnati Bengals (9/4) San Diego Chargers (10/3). This game still could have been just The most influential game, should earlier mentioned circumstances have not happened--or even been mentioned. Both teams are in 1st place in thier divisions, (2 games up each), which means that the team who wins this one--could very potentially clinch thier division today) This of course would also be dependent on what the 2nd place teams in each division do with thier game--especially if either The Ravens (2nd place to Bengals), or The Broncos (2nd place to Chargers) should lose thier respected games.

Which of course brings us to the games with the most 'co-dependent issues' influences--and we give that honor to both the Oakland Raiders (4/9) Denver Broncos (8/5), and the Chicago Bears (5/8) Baltimore Ravens (7/6) games. Yep!! That is right!! The Bentals are depending on The Raiders to beat The Broncos--and The Chargers are depending on The Bears to beat The Ravens. Somehow--I am not too sure if I wanna get any hopes up for either The Bengals or The Chargers to get what they hope for in either of these games.

This week's game with the most 'do or die' influences belongs to the New England Patriots (8/5) Buffalo Bills (5/8) game. The Patriots and The Bills are in the same division, (AFC East). The Patriots are in 1st place in that division, and The Bills are in last place in that division, However the difference between the 2 teams is just 3 games. The Bills are also just 3 games shy in The Wildcard race as well. So--If The Bills DO NOT win this one--they will instantly be kicked out of both--thier divisional race--and thier Wildcard race!

The game with the most 'have no influences what soever' influences belongs to the Cleveland Browns (2/11) Kansas City (3/10) game. Both of these teams are out of both races! There fore it doesn't matter whether either team loses--it won't effect any teams in the league as far as whether or not they make the Divional races or the W/C races! Hoever-perhaps the best prize it shall accomplish will be that dramatic battle for last place!

Tonight Colts/Jaguars, (Both in the same divisions and where The Colts currently have a 6 games lead over the 2nd place jags), will be on The NFL network--However NFL.com will apparently have the game online and for free tonight. So if you do not have the NFL Network--that could be something u might want to take advantage of. The Saints/Cowboys game will be played on Saturday, (Don't ask me why--I do not have the foggiest idea why!), and it is also going to be on the NFL Network. I do not at this time know if NFL.com will show that game online for free as well. Guess we will all find out together!

Ok folks--That is the best taht i have for this week--As always--if u see something I miss, or u just want to send out a "GO______________" to your team, then by all means add it. And please remember to be in special thoughts and prayers, as The Bengals' organization as well as the family and friends of 23 year old Chris Henry--during such a sorrowful time--during this Christmas Season.

Yeah for the Steelers. Let's just go ahead and give the division to the Chargers, okay? Okay!!
Were you watching the Steelers HEART? 3 seconds to go and they scored a touchdown to tie it, the extra point won the game.
Who will be watching the Vikings/Panthers game?
I wake up to discover that The Vikings got shot last night by The Panthers!
T-45 minutes till the last game of week 15. I don't suppose I am going to get a show of hands as to how many of u folks will be watching this one---will I??
I'd raise my hand but my fingernails are atrocious. 24 -0 Giants winning. That's how it should be.
Yep--24/zip at the half!! And I managed to stay awake for it!
Thank Goodness this one is over.
After 15 weeks--and 14 games, we only have 1 undefeated team left. We still have no teams with a tied game on thier record, although there was one (Miami/Tennesee) overtime game. Something else that happened on Sunday was that Tampa Bay actually won thier 2nd game--which leaves only one team (The Rams) left with just one game in the win slot! As far as the playoffs goes, we now have maybe about 2/3 of the picture...So let's put it all together here.

13 teams (41% of the league) have a winning record. 12 teams (37% of the league) have a losing record. 7 teams (22% of the league) have a .500 record of 7/7. The biggest winning record is 9/5--and there are 5 teams (16%) that share this record. The largest losing record gap is 4 teams (12%) who shares a 5/9 record. As mentioned earlier, The Rams remains the only team which only have 1 game in thier winning slot. The Colts officially now stand alone with the best record in the league--being the only undefeated team at this point.

Every team in The NFC has at least a wildcard spot, although I must admit I am confuse with how NFL.com has it set up. According to thier records, The Vikings have clinched thier division--however Green Bay is only 2 games out--and there are still 2 games to play. The Vikings have proven they can lose--just as The Packers have proven that they can win--So it is highly probably that these two teams can go on 2 games win/lose streaks. I just think they call that one too soon. In the mean while, The Cardinals and the Saints each clinched thier division--The Eagles have a wildcard spot--but not thier division, since they only lead The Cowboys by one game, and The Giants by 2.

In The AFC--The Chargers earned thier division after a Broncos lost to The Raiders. The only other team with a guaranteed spot is of course The Indianapolis Colts--who of course took thier divisional title in week 13. AFC East and AFC North both still have a divisional and wildcard race going. The Patriots were the only team that won thier game in the East. However--Last week The Jets were just 1 game out--and now both teams are 2 games out. The Bills are now out of both races being that they are 3 games out. The Next 2 weeks are going to prove to be intersting--especially considering The Jets are playing The Colts this Sunday. Over in The North division--We have The Cincinatti Bengals leading The Baltimore Ravens--With Cincinatti playing KC (UBU and Trr--do u just wanna be consoled now instead of later??), and Baltimore playing Pittsburgh (Who lost 5 consecutive games before yesterday), for week 16. How tight is tight going to be in this division?

Here is waht the rest of the W/C play offs looks like--

In the NFC: The Cowboys and The Packers are both holding onto 1st place, with the Giants holding 2nd place at 1 game out, and The Falcons hanging in there at 2 games out. All other teams in The NFC are currently out of both races.

In The AFC--The Ravens and The Broncos both hold a 1st place tie with 6 teams (Jaguars, Dolphins, Jets, Steelers, Texans and Titans) all holding 2nd place being only 1 game each out. Yes--I did say Titans are in there too--Remember that 0 and 6 team??? Well--Melly shine her love on them and looked at what happened!! (U see?? All u have to do is serenade your team with just a little love--and good things might happen!) Raiders, Bills, Browns and Chifs are all out of both races!
