TBD on Ning

TBD now has 2,408 profiles at the time of this posting. So how about it---can we have all 2,408 people say hello to everybody on this thread??? Give us your first names. And maybe just for an added kicker--when was the last time you hug someone?

So hello all 2,407 of you people besides me! My name is Tom---(I know--first time you ever heard of anyone with that name--right?) I just finish hugging 3 of my 8 cats. The other 5 cats feel they must continue thier lifetime protest against me.

Myself? I am cheap and tawdry and will throw a rabbit out for slaughter at the drop of a hat. I can't speak for everybody else though.
Well maybe just a change in theme, not really a change in subject.
Rabbit stew recipe includes rabbit, onions, celery, carrots, potatoes, mushrooms, and red wine.
Ingredients:
1 rabbit, about 3 pounds, cut up
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons butter
1 cup chopped celery
2 medium onions, thinly sliced
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 teaspoon salt
dash pepper
1 bay leaf
4 cups water
4 cups dry red wine
2 cups diced carrots
4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
4 ounces sliced mushrooms, sauteed
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup water
Preparation:
Directions for rabbit stew.
Dredge rabbit pieces with 1/2 cup flour. Melt butter in a Dutch oven over medium heat; brown rabbit pieces on all sides. Add celery, onion, salt, pepper, bay leaf, 4 cups water, and wine; bring to the boil. Reduce heat to a simmer, cover, and simmer rabbit stew for 2 hours. Add carrots, potatoes, and mushrooms; cook for about 25 to 30 minutes longer, or until vegetables are tender. Combine 1/4 cup flour and 1/3 cup water; stir until well blended and smooth. Stir flour mixture into the broth; cook and stir until thickened.
Rabbit stew recipe serves 4.
One what? One bunnie?
You know what happens if you have more than one.
Hello, Hello, My name is Richard and I have been here before. But I keep coming back. I also buy lottery tickets.
The above post was a mistake. This recipe was supposed to be posted in the Cooking Thread. I have no idea how it ended up here. Must be one of those TBD Ning glitches. That's my story and I'm stickin to it.
