TBD on Ning

As we come to a close of yet another old year--it is time to reflect on the events that will be most notable when the history books are writen about the year 2009. What are some events (International, National ((U.S. or Canada)), or even local to you do you believe will be put in that book. Of course everyone will probably include the innaugaration of Barak Obama as President, and the recent massacre at Fort Hood Texas. But I am sure we could come up with other events as well--and these events can include all mediums including entertainment, music--etc., etc. etc.

I now have two stainless steel knees and am almost healed. However I can not jump over building like Steve Austin, The Bionic Man. Somebody should have told me that before I went through all of that.
How about the 2009 California Wild Fires this pass summer? They have been bad before--but this year they were the worst ever!! More then 336,000 acres (roughly 525 sq. miles) burned!!!
I have air in my lungs...my children are alive...I have a roof over my head..a man that loves me, just cuz!
Some human beings were kind and generous...Some were cruel and inhuman...Babies were born and some folks died....this is the circle...calenders and time just keep it all from happening at once.
Everything else is just fluff...rouge and lipstick.
I suppose I could wax poetic about the triumphs and tribulations of the world in general, but I'll spare ya'll that. You've already heard it all anyway.
I have however turned a corner in my life aided and bouyed by the love of a sweet woman I met on the original TBD. She has made this one of the best years of my life. Thank You, Sugar...♥
