That thing is bigger than our mall.
The first cruise Kittycat and I went on was in the late 80s. It was Royal Caribbean's "MS Starward", max. capacity was 700 something passengers.
I think your ship might be a little bit smaller then this new ship!
That video is only part 1 of 4!! U think a ship like that can be covered in 8 1/2 minutes?? pfffttttt!!

Here are the other 3 videios--They are actually kind of interesting--as far as advertisements go!

I saw where they lowered the smoke stacks, they are hydraulic, to get under a bridge cleared by a foot and a half. If your buying I'd take a pent suite.
Dude. Am I just weird? Or is this anyone else's idea of hell? If I'm on the ocean I want to know it, like body surfing the waves or floating out beyond the breakers. I'm heading to California to see relatives for Christmas and to Puerto Rico to get warm at end of January but I want to fly. Get there and have fun. Too many peeps on that thing for this country girl.
I would have to wonder--how does the 'captain' and navigators of this monster--even see--I mean physically see--not technology that can breakdown at anytime, anywhere see--where the heck they are going with this thing??? And for those of u who have ever rode on a little motorboat==or even charter boat on the oceans--could you just imagine the type of wave this vehicle would be creating as it passes by??
Good point. I used to live on a lake and sailed a Hobie Cat. There was a bit of rivalry, animosity or whatever between some of the motor and speed boaters and the sailors. Mostly just alcohol and bad manners but sometimes dangerous. Dude. This thing must leave a tsunami for a wake. It conjures up images of the Titanic for me. I don't think I'd go on it if they paid me to do it. Not my thing. Give me a nice beach at sunset, privacy and nude body surfing. That's the life. :)
Uh....uhmmm....you?? Nude?? On...a beach???? OK---I am awake now!
How would you know you're on a boat?
If it carrys 6000 passengers it probably has 3000 crew members.
approximately 2,000 to 2,500--depending on the Cruise and the # of registered passengers.
