What's that in the rafters???
Do you hear noises coming from your attic? Are they consistent with an explaination? Or are they like the noises in the movie, The Exorsist, when 'Captain Howdy' came to visit?
I ask this because I suffer from horrible noises in my attic. Several years back, I shot an orange cat that was eating my chickens...(yes, I know, bad girl. But I'd given him every benefit of a doubt, I even fed and neutered him.) No avail. There's a little known fact out there that says, if you shoot an orange cat, then orange cats will come in droves to inundate you lives. This is a true proverb and should not be taken lightly. Right now, there are 5 orange cats up there in that attic, 2 of which are ferral.

Creeking? It sounds like the bloody animals are going to come through the ceiling. I hope it's JUST orange cats...BTW does anyone have statistics on how long it takes for 'the orance cat curse' to pass?

according to Google the Orange cat curse is extremely hard to get rid of. It may even follow you to another house. Of course statistics show that it isn't teminal like a Black cat curse. Shooting an Armadillo is even worse, you don't live in Texas do you? I solved the problem by living in an RV. I don't have an attic.

I live in NJ, and I shot a coon or two. But they didn't seem to mind quite as much. On the other hand, there was this goat I neutered (he attacked my son). He minded ALOT. Fortunately, there doesnt seem to be a neutered goat curse, either!

Goats are a curse neutered or unnutered. I forgot to put the first e in unneutered. It seemed to better describe the procedure.

The goat neutering process took place on the picnic table. (I had some aenesthetic from 'days gone by'.) Since'waste not, want not', and the dog was standing right there and all, and what with the price of pet food these days...do I have to spell it out? A good dog is a happy dog.
But you are absolutely right. Goats are a curse, both ways. I got them at a mean market auction, and since I have this strange and unique gift of curing things, I got the animals sick and fixed them right up. Dirt cheap. Sure enough, one was pregnant, and so on and so forth. Goats abhor fences. Important point to remember if you live in a small suburban community outside of NYC. In the end we gave them all away to an elderly couple with lots of land and grand children. Thank god we never got that cow...
