Obviously the biggest game of today have to belong to the Cowboys/Eagles!! Both are 5/2, and both hold 1st place in The NFC East. Will--by the end of the day--one of them will no longer be holding 1st place! Of course--we also haven't had a tied ending game neither--have we?

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers remains the only totally defeated team. In facing Green Bay--can that be eradicated today? Or will Green Bay want to vent a little because they were beaten by Favre twice?

Colts--in facing Texans got a pretty challenging game that could test their undefeeated record. The Saints however look like they will keep their undefeated stance--since they are playing a not as good as they use to be Panthers team!

And will somebody please volunteer to be a Nurse on call for Larry--for Monday Night Football???

(Side note--I don't know why---but there is a Thursday night game--and NFL made that a week 10's game. Could someone please explain to me--how NFL figured that one out???)

1 quarter and it is only a 3 zip game. Maybe the destruction won't be as bad as I thought it was going to be!
Good call!
Ok. Back to the game. Later guys.
I just envisioned poor Larry fainting!
Sports Dudes with big pecs overtake the Athletic Guys in tight pants 6-9. Woo-hoo! Beep-beep! Yo!
Whoa!!!!! Larry's health may not be as much in danger as I thought it would be!!! Denver is losing--badly!!!!
What a sweet win this one is!!!!! Lar's all smiles!!!
I still claimed that Denver wasn't as good as their record shows. They're good but I'm looking forward to them meeting San Diego in two weeks.

Way to go Steelers!!
Steelers rock!!!!
Well congradulations once again goes out to The Pittsburgh Steelers--(See?--I know how to really spell their name!) for pullling off a great win/upset that keeps our boy Larry mentality in check! Turns out the situation was not as 'world coming to an end for Larry' as I thought it might have been. Here is how week 9 ends up--

Observations for week 9:

Every team have now won 1 or more games. With all of the teams that were totally defeated at one point having the same record of 1/7, (Except for Tennesee who now won 2 straight--giving them a 2/6), having 8 regular season games left to play, do any of them--any of those teams at all have a shot of at least getting a wildcard spot for their respected division?

Pitttsburgh 5 games winning streak gave them a 6/2 record and cause them to be tied with The Bengals (6/2) in the AFC North division--however be aware that the Bengal only won 2 games in a row. Both teams have a 2 games lead in their division.

The biggest gap of games 1st place teams lead by is 3 games--which is held by The Vikings (7/1-NFC North), Saints (8/0, NFC South), and Colts (8/0, AFC South)

Aside from the tied for 1st place Steelers/Bengals in the AFC North Division, the next closest race belongs to The NFC East--Where The Cowboys victory over The Eagles gave them a 1 game lead!

The good news--with a 1/7 record, The Rams only have a 4 games gap between them and The Cardinals who are in 1st place with a 5/3 record. That is the smallest gap of any other 1/7 teams. The bad news? The Rams play The Saints for week 10!!

Ok--That is a wrap for week 9! Week 10 actually starts Thursday night with a game being played between The Bears and The 49ers. (A game I won't be able to see because it will be on the NFL Football Network--Does anybody get that channel?) So i will put up Week 10 thread sometimes late Wednesday--or early Thursday. Be sure to look for it and get your NFL buddies to join us!
