What have the lurkers learned from their lurking around here?

I am going to make a dramatic effort to unlurk some of the lurkers at least once...and maybe get the forums to grow a bit. At this point--the counter shows that there are 2,359 profiles on this TBDning thing we got going here. Out of that--there might just be 50 or less solid, everyday, perhaps even every hour participants. So I am wondering--are the lurkers learning anything interesting to learn by just lurking around here? And if so...What is it exactly the lurkers are learning around here?

Actually, I just came to the main forum a few days ago so I don't think I'm a lurker, just been offline a lot and going to groups when I have a chance. I miss the old TBD, the laughs and shenanigans so I decided to check out the main page. This is something I haven't taken time to do at this site. Greetings to All and have a beautiful week. Well...GL--they say the road to recovery begins when there is a confession of a problem--so maybe we can take a 12 step program step with this? U know--have a meeting and have someone come out and say "Hi! I am (avatar name here), and I am a lurkerholic!" -- To which the rest of us must replay "Hello (avatar name here)!"

Interesting idea--we can set up cyber sponsers! Maybe do little things like teach people how to turn the computer on--or how to use the keyboard--stuff like that!
