Professionally speaking

Are there any professions that you are impressed with? I enjoy watching any craftsman that is truly good at what he does. A trim carpenter that can build something with nary a crack in it. I've worked with some painters that are more of an artist than anything. And oddly a convenience store employee that is on top of his game when things are at the busiest.

I can fly a plane, but I’m not a pilot or care to be one. I do admire these people though.
How about that guy that landed his plane with one wing?

So true. I watch programs that show something like a crayon machine that wraps all the crayons and am in awe.

I'm impressed with a good waitress or waiter. I could never have that kind of patience.

I forgot about musicians. I'll add that one, too. I have a twenty year old son that has picked up the guitar and is really excelling at it. It makes me smile when he plays something I recognize and pulls it off rather nicely. If he can make a profession out of it, that would be cool.

Musicians, music writers, dancers, I guess anything to do with theater and the arts. Look at Billy Joel. Not only does he sing, he plays the piano, he writes the music and he also writes the lyrics. Then he gets on the stage and performs in front of thousands! What a talent. He does it all. People like that amaze me.

Voluntary people who makes so much difference to others life by giving which brings happiness to their own life as well as benefitting others . I wish one day I can do it when I dont have to worry about making money . and have lots of time on hand . and yes in this life time .

I've always had a fascination for major league baseball dead ball era ( pre 1920 ) pitchers. My sister is a fantastic landscape painter and I've always been amazed at her talent.
