Sometimes there are these great lines from a song or a movies that just sticks with you or makes a mark.  There is a song out by Ed Sheerin, called Thinking out Loud, it is a song wondering about love lasting as you grow old.  At the beginning of the song there is this line " Will your mouth still remember the taste of my love".  Every time I hear it, I think wow it is just a great line!   I love the song, but something about that particular line.

Anyone have other examples of a great line from a song or movie you like?

" He asked 'Have you ever cheated on me?' I said 'Only in my mind.'" -- from Reba's song Only In My Mind

I am sure I will find something to go with the romantic theme running so far, but otherwise:

Star Wars Episode IV: "I find your lack of faith disturbing"  Darth Vader   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=11Ee02WLxGk

Sometimes you have to break a few eggs to make an omelet.

I don't know who said it, but it fits so many situations.

that's usually said by the guy who doesn't own the eggs.....

here's another    "the very first words of a lifelong love letter"  Sara Barailis, I choose you.  Sorry didn't mean to go back to the romantic theme.  lol

"I am the only guilty man in Shawshank" Red (Morgan Freeman)
"I have been to a town, Del" Jeremiah Johnson (Robert Redford)

Okay, okay, I give up. There is a collection of poems translated by Edward Fitzgerald in short know as "The Rubaiyat of Omar Kahyyam" or such and in there is a passage I sometimes think about especially in the Spring:

Come, fill the Cup, and in the Fire of Spring

The Winter Garment of Repentance fling:

The Bird of Time has but a little way

To fly---and Lo! the Bird is on the Wing.

Gather ye rosebuds while ye may

Old time is swiftly flying,

And these same buds that bloom today

Tomorrow will be dying.

Always liked Herrick, an ordained minister at that.

Whenas in silks my Julia goes,
Then, then, methinks, how sweetly flows
The liquefaction of her clothes!

Next, when I cast mine eyes and see
That brave vibration each way free,
—O how that glittering taketh me!

Nice

i can feel you sigh with my back to you

as tho the sighs were mine and i'm attached to you

its deep inside your eyes that i'm attracted to

like a moth drawn toward a light

i can't stop my headlong flight ..

and i fall inside your eyes ..

who is it, frenchy?
