Yes I have and most of the changes in my life in the last ten years were not for the better. I never thought I would spend my later years caring for a son with Down Syndrome. Not that I would ever do anything else but I would never have guessed this when I was young.

And I never thought that my second husband, who shared so man of the same interests I did, would become ill.  I am not his caretaker yet, but I see it coming.

We are amazingly resilient just for the fact that we get up every morning and still find joy in each day.

change is inevitable .. some of it is heartbreakin and some of it is good .. i'm not diggin this gettin older stuff tho .. lotta changes i'm not happy about .. but whats the alternative?? thats an even bigger change ain't it ?? everybody wants to go to heaven .. but nobody wants to die ..
