So we are in our 40's 50's 60's or close to 70. What were your best years ? Then , Now , Maybe even later perhaps ? Could they be in your teens 20's 30's 40's other words in 10 year cycle's ? What ya think ?

In my teens i was trying to figure out life . 20's just wandering around . My 30's and 40's were my working years and raising my girls . My 50's were fairly good till i got put out of work from injury . That started my downward spiral into my 60's . All in all i believe my 40's were the best ? Although i can't do anything at age 64 i feel these are the highlight years and won't get any better . May end up in rest home toward the end ...

The years I spent in college and graduate school were my best years. That would be my late 20's and early 30's. I love learning and being around smart people. That's why I am here.
Altogether I spent 10 years in college and grad school. Even though I was also working at the same time it was fun.

College, for sure--loved, loved, loved learning, loved the music, fell in love, got married--the war caused an urgency in the young people of the day and passion about life.

Then, my forties when I was single between marriages and in my prime, although there were some lonely times and some very hard times.  However, I feel that I came into my own in my forties, became independent, opened up to people and adventures. And, TMI maybe , but that's when I really learned about and experienced freedom sexually.  It's a wonderful decade for women

Late 20's and early 30's, I was single or divorced owned my own home and had a great job with good pay on the weekends I took flying lessons, English riding lessons, played tennis and racquetball was in great physical shape and had a lot of fun. I spent time with my son as much as possible and when I was doing my sports or flying he was with me or with my best friend and her children. Eight years of good memories.

When I was 47 I married my current husband and those early years were filled with travel and so much fun and laughter, I really felt like I was living in a movie, a romantic comedy.  I wouldn't trade either of those times for anything.

I agree with Crest, the decade of my my forties was my favorite.  I actually remember saying "I am loving my 40's".
