I don't like extreme temperature hot or cold. It has been in the 90's here for the last ten days but I have tried not to complain. We had such an awful winter, for Tennessee, that I promised myself I would not complain about the heat when summer came. I am really trying to keep that promise.

Same here P.A.  After last winter, I will take the heat.

The thing I hate the most is going out to dinner in the winter, coming out and saying "Oh, it's so cooooooold out here."

These are definitely first world problems, though.  I am nambie pambie.

We had a mild winter (for here) so I can gripe about this heat. I am thinking of selling the house and getting another boat (power one this time) and moving on it.  No property taxes, and if I don't like my neighbors I can just go to another marina.

Your horses must be good swimmers.

I could never live without air conditioning.  I don't know how you do it.  I would at least need one of those portable ones that wheel around--a cool haven in a hot house.

I just cuss a lot..I mean a LOT!!

I think that works pretty well some of the time.

Would not do without air  .  Just can't breathe . I ordered an 8,000 btu made bt Fridadare two weeks goo . Only cool or hezt this room . Does real well for me . Paid around $250 for it. Is real quite . Been  around 88 to 95 last couple weeks .

You are on the same weather patterns I am on.  However we have had some pretty bad ice storms. Snow..I can handle, but ice..well I hate driving on it.

That's why this old lady ain't moving to Florida! I would have to hide in the a/c for nine months of the year! I was born up near the Canadian border, and I can handle cold much better than heat. I remember playing on the beach and in the park when it was in the 90s when I was young. Now....I went to a water park in Illinois last summer.....and spent that evening in the ER due to heat stroke! I cannot do anything outside when it gets over 90......and the humidity only makes it worse. I need to pull some weeds in the front yard garden beds, (because God forbid my son's wife should help maintain HER house!) ....but if I go out in this heat, I will be sick again. It has been pretty mild here so far, but now we are entering the worst 2 months of the year for me. But I am not complaining; Virginia is more temperate than the Midwest, where I came from. I would much rather spend a winter here than in Chicago!! Our winters are mild and short on snow. Works for me. And it gets hot here in summer.....but not like where my Eons pal lives...in West Texas. He averaged 60+ days of 3-digit temps last summer. No way could I handle that!

We've had about 6 weeks of high 70's to mid 80's a few days last week I felt some humidity which we don't normally have here. It has been very pleasant and I'm grateful because I hate being hot with a passion. I especially hate humid. This month is usually when we get some 90 degree weather so it will probably happen in a week or so for a few days. I love the climate here. A very few uncomfortable afternoons and back to perfect. The temps cool every evening to the high 50's or low 60's so sleeping is always good.

I shore do love this song  Callie ....
