I think I am coming down with shingles again.  Seems like I get them about every two years.  Not fun.

Thanks.  No, they are not fun. My dr prescribes an antiviral medicine and it does help some.

Yes, just haven't done it.  Two years ago I had them in my ear and throat. I didn't even know you could get them there.

I had the vaccine, my husband had shingles last year and it was very painful and lasted for months. Stress will trigger it, I hope this is over quickly for you dwalt.

I have had several mild cases over the years. They were uncomfortable but not awful. I had the vaccine about 4 years ago and haven't had a problem since.

I did not notice anything after I had the shot. If there was a case it was so mild I didn't even notice it.

cool .. i keep hearin about these shingles and i'm thinkin about gettin the shot but i didn't wanna open the door to somethin that might not even want me .. till i get the shot and then it knows my address .. and then i'm up the creek
