Now This is Troubling if they can watch you through the TV
Bill would warn viewers their TV is watching them
U.S. Reps. Walter Jones of North Carolina and Michael Capuano of Massachusetts are pushing legislation that would require television watchers be given a warning before their TV sets start to watch them back.
Capuano said he’s co-sponsoring the bill in response to reports that national telecommunications companies are exploring technologies that would allow digital video recordings of the personal activities of consumers as they watch television to better target ads.
Capuano said that while the technology is in its conceptual stages, it’s important Congress establish clear boundaries before it becomes a reality.
The bill would require consumers to agree to the technology before it’s used.
The bill, which Capuano calls the “We Are Watching You Act,” would also require an on-screen warning whenever a device is recording information. — ASSOCIATED PRESS

I don't think they have enough people to watch and listen to all the people. It's not something I would want to do, ugh!
Once upon a time I took up sub teaching and ended up with a High School physical ed class of about 50 teen age girls. They all had their little cliques of four or five and all talked at once in what to me was a fast talking dinn and the content - well.... There are some things in the world you don't want to listen to.
Perhaps Computer PC/MAC group people would know the technological stage that all this electronics is at.
The companies producing and setting up listening and cam devices are doing good business both with businesses that want to spy on employees and with individuals that want to see who comes to their doorstep and what they say. I would like to hear what the Latter Day Saints and Adventist people say after they talk to me and are walking or driving away after they come to my door and try to save me.
Well, let them just watch me for 5 minutes and they will be SO BORED, they will call off ALL SPYING!! LOL!! I don't watch TV unless its a hockey game but our season is over now and baseball though I'm not usually REALLY watching it. I LOVE "live" baseball but ON TV...its "ok"! My client watches and I'm sometimes reading and inject the appropriate "good play"....LOL!!
for anyone to be able to turn on your webcam or listen thru your computer, they have to hack into your system and install some little piece of software. that's why you set up two accounts...a user account that has limited access to make changes and an administrator account which you do NOT use to surf and play on the net. also turn off the remote administrative features which are used primarily on large networks to warn users of network upgrades and shutdowns etc. between being careful and a decent firewall, barring a major outbreak of stupidity on the part of the computer user, you should be safe as long as you aren't downloading and installing lots of cute apps and free shit...as far as the cellphones go? same thing really....don't install silly apps and don't accept pics and other assorted crap from people...if you get really worried about it all, unplug the things when you aren't using them or turn off the surge protector like a master switch....oh and you can always disable the wifi or unplug the cable or modem...
I'm with YOU, ROSE....its just not something I worry about, either. I'm not planning on murdering anyone or plotting against anybody, growing/making drugs or moonshine in my kitchen, doing anything shady or crazy so what do I have to hide? (OK...so MAYBE crazy but hey...I'm allowed to be LEGALLY and morally crazy sometimes, RIGHT?...LOL!!) They could have been doing these types of things our entire lives....HOW would we really KNOW? Famous People, government, and ETC., who have secrets really don't HAVE to tell the media if they don't WANT to and if the media gets in the way, they can "knock them off if they had to"....that's all there is to it...(YES, I read too many mysteries....LOL)
I like that .......
what can be a worry is that any mutt with 30 bucks and access to your computer can install something like this..and it was even given away free the other day.....and it does come from the ukraine....hmmm suspicious...probably...after all, the easiest way to make zombienets is to give something away for free....which comes with a hidden package...(kinda like the transvestite ms america)
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx is a software that monitors all activities on computer systems including applications, keyboard, passwords, clipboard, chat, email, and visited websites. To avoid tampering of the software, it features a unique file protection. This keylogger is completely undetectable. During monitoring sessions it will not be listed in the task manager. The software can be installed in less than five minutes and runs maintenance free.
The keylogger displays reports in web format or sends zip-compressed and encrypted activity reports invisibly via Email, FTP or network. xxxxxxxxx has a password protected interface and hot-key combination for accessing the application. All recorded information is stored in an encrypted file. The keylogger does not consume computer resources.
(Norton 360 found virus Bloodhound.Sonar.9 upon the installation files)
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx is a free popular all-round monitoring solution. It runs in the background and monitors all typed keystrokes, applications, passwords, clipboard, email, and visited websites’ URLs. You can view the reports as HTML files.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx will help you to find out, what exactly took place in the system.
You will be able to find out what your children search in the internet, and to check them. You can perform the full control of the computers of your company or enterprise. You will always know about all action
by the way i xxxxxxxxxxx'd out the names to perteck the innocent and the dimwits
and as proof some things shouldn't be messed with....a number of people who installed the software on their machine promptly 'lost' the software...."so's you installed the logger to keep track of everyone and read everthing they write and everywhere they go and send reports but you don't know where they go cause you can't find the program on the computer....and it could be sending out YOUR information too...cause loggers log every keystroke...like account numbers and passwords and routing numbers and bank sites and .....and it comes from the ukraine....geee go figure....checked your balance lately?"
oh the loggers work......but who else are you sending all this stuff off to?....bcc to ivan who likes to live large....or who sells the credit info on another website...there are actually websites for crooks where they buy credit card info etc....feel better knowing THAT?
