The best layoff letter

Dear Employees:
As the CEO of this organzation, I have resigned myself to
the fact that Barrack Obama is our Oresident and that our taxes and government
fees will increase in a BIG way. To compensate for these increases, our prices
would have to increase by about 10%. But, since we cannot increase our prices
right now due to the dismal state of the economy, we will have to lay off sixty
employees instead. This has really been bothering me since I believe we are
family here and i did'nt know how to choose who would have to go. So, this is
what I did. I walked through the parking lot and found 60 obama bumper stickers
on our employees cars and have decideed these folks will be the ones to let go.
I can't think of a more fair way to approach this problem. They voted for
change....So i gave it to them. I will see the rest of you at the annual company
picnic

It will be great for those 60 employees now they can go work for someone who has ethics and business sense. I'm sure they must have hated the job they had and the people they worked for.

For all the businesses who hate Obama's Insurance plan, they had an option to get insurance out of the workforce entirely when everyone could choose the same insurance as government employees. No, they supported the right wing idiots in congress who took all the good things out and left us with the junk plan. How stupid was that?

Betcha that moron winds up laying off some of his smartest, hardest workers - And, of course, he'll blame Obama for that, too.

 

There's an entire series of GIFs out there that show idiots doing stupid things to themselves - Slamming their hands in doors, loading up a paper plate with hot soup until it collapses, trying to jump off a roof into a swimming pool and failing - And they all end with the words "THANKS, OBAMA !".

I see no problems with what I wished for. I did not wish for an obstructionist minority party trying to drive the economy back into recession in the misguided belief that it will help them politically.

A version of that CEO notice has been going around for some time.  I have a friend who is very anti-Obama.  He frequently sends me jokes and cartoons by E-mail but also includes items that rip the president in one way or another.  Several months ago that very “Dear Employee” notice was among those he sent to me.  I didn’t think it was very funny then and I still don’t.  

In spite of that, he remains my friend.  I am a very tolerant person.
