Donald Trump claims Republicans "got nothing out of the deal" between VP Biden and Sen. McConell...

The Tea Party types in Congress claim they'll send the "deal" back to the Senate; i.e., "No Deal!"

So ... who won?

Hmmmm? Is there any way to impeach Congress?

They would have to vote to impeach themselves. Unlikely I would think.
Some of the reasonable republicans in the House need to grow a spine and join with the democrats who are not too far left and pass the bill. We have to stop letting the extremists rule the day.

first of all...f*** donald trump... he speaks only for donald trump...somewhere along the line, asskissers have confused the concepts of being a republican and being wealthy...in point of fact, he means nothing to anyone...as for the rest of the voices....there was a recent observation that the republicans are no longer a political party but are a collection of warring tribes...a bit more apropo, at least in my estimation..and some of members of those tribes are busily trying to destroy their own leadership in order to be swept into power in the resultant vacuum..as it stands, it appears republicans can't make deals or negotiate at all since they can't work together even among the true believers..this has all the hallmarks of a televangelists convention

Holy Teetertotter, the House passed it in spite of the Tea Party; it's on the President's desk.  Who would have thought?

Now comes March madness aka, The Debt Ceiling.  I was thinking, "How much more of this drama can we take"?  Then I remembered what people like Obama are going through.  Man, I couldn't do it.  He actually brought the GOP sans Tea Baggers to the state of reality.  Wow!

Also, I have to wonder if McConnell just got himself "Primaried"?

Or ... has the GOP taken back their party?

Hmmmmmm......

Of course a lot of Democrats are probably wondering what else they'll have to do to avert another Republican Recession.  I really don't see this deal as a win for Democrats -- or the country.  What exactly did the Republicans have to give up?

(Except temporarily, very temporarily, compromise with the hated Left)

Ive ben watchng the Drama unfold also LLL.

The Presidident got the frickin' crybaby teabaggers to agree ..enuogh to take the edge off the the tax hike for most of us. Extending unemployment benifits for a yaer matters directly and imediently for some of the hardest hit Americans also.

The Pres. gave the jerks there puond of flesh by negociating tax hikes on poeple who make $4oo,-$450 thuosand a yaer insted of his original $250 thuosand per yaer. So they can claim a victory of sorts...pffft.

Now the second President sealed the deal and takes off for Christmas with his family- the chicken shits refuse to release emergency aid for Sandy victoms! Norquest is WINEING at the top of his lungs. I swear the TP republicans have absolutely no shame or problem knifeing Americans who are in the worst straights.

They are contemptable.

Kudos to V.P. Joe Biden for doing his job and moveing the Repubs as far as was doable at this point.

I think that many more average Americans are aware of republican obstructionism today than wer " paying atention" 3 weeks ago. That is critical as we haed into the debt ceiling hurtal. The ultimate win on this Repliblican manufactured "Crisis" may wel be the Wake Up call on Public Opinion of the total dysfuntoin of Republican party.

course somewhere along the way, we all have to actually understand and accept that , in the long run, the only way out of this swamp is to both raise taxes and to cut spending. the crunch will be raise taxes on who and cut what spending...but it will have to be done...this raising of taxes in this agreement will generate way too little to even make a dent...tho it is a start

Obama's words were, "Chipping away at the problem".  He's off for a much deserved rest, he's got to be exhausted.  And frustrated lol ....

The Debt ceiling, easy cut off defense spending totally. I bet they'll come round fast if that happened.
