Boy Howdy! The things I miss out on in here......need to check in more often!
It is windy today, hope my cat doesn't fell off her broomstick flying.

I like that one.
I don't do well in captivity...................
That sick pup of mine may not be as dumb as we've always thought he was - He KNOWS which blob of chicken has his pill concealed in it, and won't eat it. I must try another trick. Maybe cream cheese? The little stinker is wearing me out, and HE'S the sick one.
Snagg, I think the stuff gross, but we always hid Barney's (RIP) pills in a chunk of braunsweiger.
If we kept braunschweiger on hand, I'd try it - But one of our other dogs is sensitive to beef liver (even though she loves it), so we don't torment her by giving it to the others and not her. But I DO have some frozen CHICKEN livers....Hmmmm....Think I'll thaw those out, zap 'em and puree 'em, see if he'll go for that.

The lengths we go to for our pets. Barney liked pigs ears, until one day he didn't. I ended up painting them with bacon grease, and he liked them again. I also used to buy a whole ham. slice enough off for a couple of meals for us, and cut the rest up and put it in the dehydrator. He LOVED his hammy treats.

I don't know how they get spoiled.

Well, after turning his nose up at every kind of canned dog food in the house and ground-up roast chicken and raw hamburger, I went to the store and picked up a few things, including some baked ham from the deli - And I do believe that he'd eat every atom of THAT if I'd let him. First thing he's shown hunger towards in three days. I could see he smelled it the second I walked in the house, following me around while I put away groceries, focusing the full power of those puppy-dog eyes on my back - Brother. Just have to feed it to him slow and in small portions, though....He's always been a bit of a mess, and eating too rapidly really causes problems.
I know what you mean Snagg. Barney literally danced as soon as I brought a ham into the house.
