As posted on the Publisher's Clearing House website, on January, 23, 2011, the odds of winning Giveaway #1830 "$1 million a year for life" were 1 in 1.21 billion.[11] This is an increase of more than 23% from the August 2010 odds for Giveaway #1400, of 1 in 1.75 billion.[11]

In 2008, “The estimated odds for the $10 million drawing are 505,000,000 to one. That's equivalent to sending over 1.3 million entries every day for a year (and the sweep doesn't even run for a full year).”[12]

Just think of how much paper is wasted on that crap.

Randomness, as opposed to unpredictability, is held to be an objective property - determinists believe it is an objective fact that randomness does not in fact exist. Also, what appears random to one observer may not appear random to another.

Hope I cleared that up.

Couldn't have explained it better myself, TeeBub.

Well, maybe not.

Dude, You use your massive intellect, I use Google.
'-)

Soooooo glad to see you on the threads AKA !!!!

Check your messages, cause I just sent you an invite the the next TBD meet.

...Isn't the Attorney general looking into that?

AKA and yer Google scam, that is - Not yer birthday, Bubba. I would presume that is probably entirely outside US jurisdiction.

I don't know Snagg, The FBI recently grilled me about my supposed knowledge about a subversive radio host. Don't worry Dude, I didn't tell them a thing. (well... at least I didn't spill my guts until the threatened to take the kibbles out of my bits))
Facebook, I'm not all that interested in whether Hulk Hogan had an intimate relationship with Brutus 'The Barber' Beefcake.

New Jersey Gov, Christie, is all for the feds staying out of government.

Interesting.
