I just finished "The Old Man And The Sea" by Hemingway.
Prior to that, I read "This Side Of Paradise" by Fitzgerald.
Before those two titles, I read "The Origins And Legacies Of World War I" by D.F. Fleming
D.F. Fleming's book was a very carefully detailed examination of the actions, circumstances and inactions that led to WWI, including but not limited to the assassination of Archduke Francis Ferdinand; the rising tide of Slavic nationalism; the inability/unwillingness of the three Imperialistic Dynasties to capitulate to their subject's desire for more autonomy and self-governance; primacy over The Balkan States and the trade routes including Adriatic and Black Sea ports on down to Constantinople.
I read "The Four Agreements" today, on a drive from Durham, NC to Atlanta, GA.
I wasn't doing the driving at the time. '-)
Glad to hear it.
I'm still reading "Garp"
I gotta start "A Prayer for Owen Meany". Have you read that already, Robbie?
If not, maybe we can read it at the same time. That would be pretty cool.
yesterday i read The Blood-Horse magazine.
Today I will read The Pastel Journal and the Artists Magazine.
My hat is off to you, Kittycat!
I haven't read that one yet.
