Thanks, Robbie. And yes, it really does. Especially when you're a terrible procrastinator like me. It's probably my biggest & worst flaw/fault, whatever you wanna call it.
So, yes, it feels really good to have put in such a productive day. Pretty much 12 hours of nonstop work - I feel good about that.
I had a really great day today. I hope all of you did, too. We slept 'til we woke up on our own, w/no alarm clock, went on a bike ride, went to Mass, which was wonderful - the Contemporary Christian band did the music - it was great!
Nice lunch at home afterward, then REALLY nice... nap. '-)
Lovely afternoon walk & here, the evening & bedtime is upon us.
sigh... wonderful day.
I shoveled shit yesterday. Got pasid double for doing that.
Then came back did my hair, showered, then exercised, talked on the phone, and had a long talk with mr. Coors Light and went to bed.
It was a good day
You know, B A F, it was pretty close to perfect. I am in a real state of gratitude right now. It's awesome.
Thanks for celebrating it w/me.
I went back to work today. Made it thru the whole day.
Even ran errands & rode my bike 3 miles after work.
But I'm still consumed w/the blues.
And I just listened to Tracy Chapman's The Promise on The Dyslexic Dodger's page
& now my fragile heart is broken & globbing all over me.
Things are not so good for me right now.
Hugs to you D's, it is really tough when we just get overcome with everything...it happens to me all the time.
Thanks, RRC. I know you already know this, but so that I don't seem cryptic w/the rest of the gang, I'm going to share some of what I shared w/her cowboy last night (w/his permission '-)
I have an auto-immune disease that gets triggered by ingesting even a trace element of gluten- a protein found in wheat, rye & barley. To my dismay, I was 'glutened' in a restaurant a few weeks ago. The direct damage lasts for about 6 weeks & the collateral damage even longer. I can't absorb nutrients for that time. It causes fatigue, which is debilitating at times; depression & anxiety, ulcers in my mouth, bruises all the time from being Vitamin C deficient, joint pain and being prone to chronic illness & injury. It sucks. Basically, I've been a mess the last couple of weeks. ;-p Hopefully I've hit the bottom of the cycle & will start feeling better soon.
So there ya have it.
sigh...
